I wish Kiera Cass would write a book about the very first selection in the country. Maybe broken up into parts with different points of views for some of the characters so that we get a sense of what is happening in the country and what is happening in the palace during that time.
I find my self having a hard time believing it's over I want to cry when I think about it when. I first started reading it I thought it's just a book... now I know it's just a book that's has pretty much... taken over my life I loved it soooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤
I cried when she called her aunt. I liked him when he saved her too. I really wanted them together and by the middle I was like they are going to fall in love and it's going to be so sad.
I was literally bawling as she told her Dad how she felt. Great ending.

i read this series as a teen when i was 15/16 or so years old... its been so so long and even though i remembered who she ends up with is still got all teary eyed.. i chose to relisten cause of nostalgia but damn.. i dint think i would love the last 2 books as much as i did. thanks for bringing back that joy in a way :)

(Nederlands - België) Mijn geschreven Engels is niet goed genoeg. Dus ik schrijf in het Nederlands. Google translate = ´goodgood´. 😉 Heel heel erg bedankt om alles van ´The Selection´ voor te lezen. Ik wilde deze boeken al heel lang lezen, maar met mijn 2 kinderen vond ik er de tijd niet voor. Nu kon ik luisteren terwijl ik het eten maakte en andere huishoudelijke taken deed. Ik heb met je mee gelachen en op het einde kreeg ik ook tranen in mijn ogen. Ik vond je ´rants´ heel leuk en was blij dat je vaak zei wat ik ook aan het denken was. Ik was helemaal team Eric van in het begin. 🙈 Ik heb niet alles geliked en ook niet gereageerd op andere filmpjes, want alles is al 7 jaar oud. 🙈 Maar echt bedankt voor al de tijd die je hier hebt ingestoken!!! Je kan prachtig vertellen!! ❤❤❤ Ik ga nu op zoek naar welk boek ik nu van jou wil beluisteren. 🤗👐

I really really appreciate it and I love the way you read bc it reminds me of how my mom did when I was much younger. I love the selection series but I never read the ones about Edalyn. I decided to continue watching your videos even with the books i haven’t read. I surprised myself by loving these books as much as I did! I never read The Heir bc I started it and I thought edalyn was bratty but I’m so glad that she grew so much and ended up being a likeable character in the end! I just want to thank you for doing these read along series’s I found your videos through your one on The Siren when I was looking for an audiobook that I’d already read(so that it wasn’t a big deal if I fell asleep and the video kept going) and then moved onto The Selection after I finished The Siren, the past few months youve helped me fall asleep and I just wanted to say my thanks, I’m gonna go looking through your channel tomorrow to see if you’ve done any others that I’ve read to continue on with the bedtime stories, as a just in case this is the last night for a while that you read me to sleep I wanted to say my thanks now :)
