I absolutely ADORE your voice, Chevel Shepherd! You've done videos on a bunch pf my favorite oldies and HOW you have fine tuned many of them is just wonderful! Loretta Lynn was my dad's all time favorite country singer. I don't think she ever made a song that he didn't own when I was growing up! SO when you did those songs of hers it just let the good old memories flow. As a child my two siblings, my dad and I would crowd up in his old pick up truck and head to his parents in the mountains in Pennsylvania and dad would sing to us and goodness he had such a nice voice! Back in those days they only had AM radios in vehicles and there weren't too many country stations between here and Grandma's house so Dad would sing instead and get us singing along with him. SO you can imagine how thrilled I was at 21 to get out of the US Army and install a cassette player in my car and drive it home over 900 miles listening to Loretta Lynn, Lacy J Dalton, and Janie Fricke, along with a handful of male vocalists too like Hank, Jr, Johnny Cash, and George Jones. SO that's what instantly comes to mind when I hear your beautiful voice singing Loretta's songs. What a nice batch of memories you bring to life when I hear your voice, young lady! Thank you. You are a blessing n matter where you are.
