I think this is a software issue because mine has not worked at all since I upgraded to iPhone 12 Pro. Even when screen is locked, it still does not work. Phone has been power cycled and all. Flash does work with the camera though.
Bitch try putting ur brightness all the way up and if u have do not disturb mode on turn it off that how it worked for me it don’t matter the power low mode😊👍🏼
I just, like yesterday, got a new iPhone XR and enabled the LED notifications and they are not working. Super frustrating!! I've turned it off, back on, did a reset and still nothing. One featured I really liked coming from an Android. :(

Guys if it randomly stops working and is disable when try to turn flashlight ,hold the top volume button and power button until the turn off button comes up,then turn it off and back on lemme know if it works 😁this works for any apps to.
THIS IS THE ANSWER! Lights won’t flash while you’re looking at screen. Hit button on right- get someone to call you with screen in off mode- light on back of phone will flash. Thank you Andriana!
