I had one of these punches and they're so stiff to press 😩 also the paper leftovers get jammed quite quickly so you have to keep stopping to pick them out. I tried the Martha Stewart ones and they're the same. Can you recommend a punch that's easier to manage? Maybe just for light weight paper?

The ek punches are built strong, are heavier, and a bit stiff but last. I don’t have issues with jamming unless, like in video, I’m using too heavy or thick of paper. I can’t recommend anything that will last. However, the fiskars are easier but the spring breaks faster and are good for 65 lb weight paper only in my opinion. I don’t buy them anymore.

I just watched a video last week where the youtuber said to not leave the punches closed when you are storing them. She said that that is stressing the springs. They won’t last as long. I’m not sure if its true. But mine are closed and will remain that way as i have so many.

Not sure if true. My EK punches haven’t broke yet.
