Just purchased and hooked up very easily. The 2 k is great but my problem is with the connectivity to the base station. In my experience the cameras have to be very close to the base station in order to work and top efficiency. It will not work with my mesh system so I would hope Wuuk would work on this connectivity issue as I certainly won’t be able to add cameras to it until this issue is fixed.
There’s actually an option now with the app update that allows you to use base station wirelessly through WiFi and not while wired into internet. So you can move it closer to the cameras
@@omarcorrea yes I tried that but no difference as cameras are at each end of building . The one camera is less than 16 ft from base and tests at 30 so is below what the test should be. In fairness it still does work with viewing but not what it should be, in my opinion.
Great video. Thanks. My only question, please don't judge, to charge the batteries you have to physically remove them from where installed? Sounds very inconvenient for a senior to do.
I agree. I have these cameras at my parents house and I'm basically the one who will have to climb up to remove them when it's time to charge. Unfortunately they don't offer a solar panel charger so you could leave it in place and the sun recharges it. There are other cameras that offer this feature though.
Do you find that when attaching the camera to the mount, the weight of the camera angles it down/droops down? The support isn't able to keep it upright or change angles comfortably...how did you fix this?
for future users, this if FYI. the image recognition software is pure garbage. It hardly ever recognize human. We had to change the settings to record all movement to figure out that the reason why the camera isn't recording is because the software wasn't recognizing human movement as human and was ignoring. However, if you put it on as record all movement, you'll end up with ton of false recording especially at night as any headlight flooding from passing car would trigger motion detection regardless if you set zone or sensitivity to minimum. The quality of video was pretty decent, and battery life for my unit was horrible and is having trouble charging from time to time (it doesn't charge overnight despite properly plugged in sometimes). The app freezes sometimes and recording is not accessible until you uninstall and reinstall. App also doesn't refresh any changes to the setting on some devices so you may also need to try log-out and log back in whenever there's changes to the settings on your system.

You can use a portable power charger to charge the camera without removing it.

No it doesn't droop for me. Just make sure you tighten up as much as you can when mounting it.

The sound quality is typical for what you’d expect from a security camera. It’s not super sensitive for far distance audio
