Open stance with closed shoulders at address and it creates a tremendous amount of torque and power with body naturally turning toward target. A few things that are important as I have played with open stance for past 4 years. My index is a 4. Open face at address and ball position a bit back on all clubs. Driver not as extreme.
Hey christo i found that i swing naturaly left handed and rotate naturaly and going to give it a try doesent feel akward mainly cause im a ambi person can use both sides and it doesnt feel bad but the eye sight part is whats different but im going to give it a try and see how well i do.
@@MiracleSwingExperience sure will its harder to find left handed clubs im getting a new set of left handed clubs since mine are very old and dented and nicks on them and the grips are old aswell but will let you know.
I love Ken Duke's easy flowing swing. i think he tends to play from a slightly open stance and is beautifully open through impact. I cant see him hitting the ball left. Glen from Australia.
Hi again Christo. I may be mistaking; but didn’t Lee Trevino say to aim at the 7 O’Clock position on the ball as you do your down swing. Are you doing this? Just curious. Cheers
I love the open stance. I can't get to open from square. I don't have that physics anymore to accomplice that. It feels that I can get man hands in a better position at impact with the open stance.
Good on ya Chriso ..your brilliant coach ...love to see you in Australia some day...outback we play on scrapes..but golf is great on scrapes or greens..love your teaching and your swing
Hey Colin, my introduction to golf was on sand greens (Esperance WA) back in the ‘70’s ….. good memories - still reckon I putted better then than I do on grass now. 🤭🤭🤭 🏌️♂️🏌️♂️🏌️♂️😉😉😉
@@johnnydev9318 yes johnny golf is great both ways ..scrapes or greens...only good scrape is the one that sits ..not the one that hits a hard patch and scoots through the back
Back in the day, the hardness of the “green” was governed by the amount of waste oil (from the local auto repair workshop) that was applied to the sand. I don’t think you’d get away with doing that now - not environmentally friendly at all ☺️☺️☺️
Would you consider trying his follow through as well? I watched a video where he said when he wants to fade it, he holds off his left arm down the line longer and he sort of chases it down the line with his head and body as well... when he wants to draw it, he lets the right hand turn over...
I was just fooling around with this. For me (a natural draw player) chasing it down the line gave me a straight ball, and my normal swing is a draw with the open stance. I still have trouble fading the ball.
I think the real secret to open stance is with an open stance and swinging to the target it automatically creates the idea of swinging to right field, which is a hard thing for the amateur to comprehend, the subconscious wants to go at the target. That is exactly what’s happening with a square stance and swinging to right field.
I think the Trevino style is a perfect fit for your journey - I mean, Hogan gave rise to Nicklaus, Trevino, etc, etc. Not much more to be said, IMO …..
Hi chris I love the way your doing things and although your own swing ev. If it happens that your right hand collapses and turning over on you then may the cause of your grip the right still a little to much on top The Effekt you wouldn't have no fear to swing it left Grets from the other part of the world
@@MiracleSwingExperience yes Chris it looks to me alike it would fit your body move much more and will give you a instant connection in transition to then exit a little differently may also your backswing feels shorter Grets Markus
Hi again Christo. 3 Questions: 1. Are you still consciously pointing both your elbows to their hip sockets at set up? 2 Are your still using the Hogan role with your wheelhouse push/pull as you approach your Shangri-La position? 3 Have you now apply your 3 concept repeatedly into one smooth swing? I believe your answer must be yes to all three; because I discovered for myself that your concepts tried separately cannot create a perfect swing; but putting them all together into one smoothly executed swing along with starting my backswing with an upward trail sided scapulas glide taught by Alison Thiegh over 20 years ago works perfectly for me. Cheers
Will Wilcox has an incredible story!! His struggle with heroin as he competed at the highest level of golf on the PGA Tour... look him up, truly incredible!!
Christo please come to the Boston Area someday with this free offer next year. I will be there and at age 74 this is the top of my bucket list. Cheers
That'd be fun!

Are you just stepping your left foot back slightly to get open? Or are you turning your foot out at an angle as well?
Both!
That whippy crisp sound your driver makes before impact is just priceless🙌🏿
Many thanks 🙏🏻

Yes, before I was going for 6 o'clock and now I'm going for 7. I was afraid I'd hook it more but for some reason it actually goes straighter!
Question... when you open your stance, do you also flair your lead foot out or is it parallel to your back foot?

Open stance I hit tighter draws and tend to hit them cleaner
Me, too!
Open stance, clubface slightly open to hit the ball straight and eliminate “fats” and “thins” ???
Here's what works for me: closed stance for driver and all other teed-up shots;
open stance for shots off the deck.

You can see from that opening image that Trevino has way more right sidebend than you at impact - I think you need to increase that.
I'd love to but my lumbar spine doesn't have that much range of motion.
Thanks for the offer - I’m a new MSE member. But I’m in Australia 🙁🙁🙁. Don’t think they’re gonna let me travel to the USA anytime soon. Oh well……..

I commend u sir. I've studied for years for an easier way to feel a great golf swing. The open stance unlocks doors to ur swing.
Trevino played a fade which requires an open stance.
