Intercoolers with 2inch inlet/outlet are hard to come by let alone in the right size/configuration. And It's easier/cheaper to weld a 2inch Inlet on to 2.5 inlet Intercooler than adapter couplers. The intercooler pipe that runs along the passenger side of the motor runs next to the belt. It turns before the control arm and there's plenty of wheel clearance at full lock. And yeah I goofed on which muffler you wanted, that was my bad. Working on the new one right now. Excited for you to get it all put together! The anti-surge compressor housing on these really make the turbo sing 👌
Have to love this. I won't be doing anything like this to my 08 honda fit yet, I'm gonna have to wait due to current budget, but yeah, looks like this kit would be a lot of fun. I've still gotta do a manual swap😅
Dude ive been trying to figure out a good daily driver to get and thought of a buddies Fit and how he loved it. I will be watching your stuff for a long time to learn, thanks for sharing.
I've had all sorts of cars, including some of the legends (S13, S14, FC RX-7, A70 Supra, N/A Miata, EK, EG, DC and DA Integras) and the Fit is just such a great underrated platform. I hope you do end up getting one and enjoy every bit as much as I do
@@Sebs.garage_ much thanks man. I hope so too. Do you have any suggestions on things to look for or lookout for? Years to avoid? Whats a decent price for these cars? Ive seen a lot of oppions online, but its hard to distinguish which ones are valid and credible and which ones are just people being misinformed or biased. Much thanks 🙏
@@carthos4402 I think pretty much every year other than 2015 is solid, I would just try to avoid buying a base model and always go with a Sport as the added benefits are largely worth the small price increase. As with any used car, look for rust, fluid leaks, condition of tires/brakes/suspension components, maintenance records, etc. (including valve adjustments, people forget about that part of the maintenance schedule). Each gen has its own little quirks, so go out and test drive some cars and see what you like best.
Sick! Can't wait to see it mounted! They show out of stock on almost everything for the GD and no prices listed on their site...price? What computer/injectors?
I currently have ordering closed. I've got a ton of orders and I'm trying to get caught up some before taking more orders. Also there's no they, it's just me. I'm one guy making all 81 of the things listed on my website with most of them having several different variations.
Following this as I too have a GD3 and ive been looking at the Fiesta ST as I want a lil more power outta the GD3 if possible. Who are you gonna go to for the tuning?
Car currently makes 118whp, there's a video with dyno footage and graph on the channel. I don't plan on any internal modifications, just an upgraded clutch, fuel system, and tuning to handle the power.
@@Carter_Moody Upgraded injectors and fuel pump to keep up with the demand necessary for my power goals. The reasons I am going with a turbo over a swap are many, but primarily being able to keep all creature comforts, features, and cost over a properly done K swap - plus it'll make way cooler noises.
@@Sebs.garage_ Thank you! I'm planning for a GE8 turbo build and I'm torn between this turbo, a GT2560R and a GT2860R 0.64A/R. I'll be following to see how you like it.
@@johnnymac1976 The 2554 should be a good bit more responsive than the 2860, but the slow boost ramp in of the 2860 may keep the stock internals happier at the cost of some lag.

How much is this kit and where can I find it
I can’t wait to see more of this build
Yes, I have been waiting for you to do any Honda Fit Turbo modifications🤙

Would you recomend this kit? I couldn't find any videos on your channel of the car running with it.

RCautoworks has done all my tuning and I intend on having them do the turbo tune as well

What size/brand turbo?
It's an Arashi Kuro GT2554R 0.57A/R
