Do you remember how our old kitchen used to look like? Modern-day Kitchens are way different than the older times. While the earlier kitchens were separate rooms generally away from the main areas, modern kitchens can be part of your living or dining room where we spend lots of time with friends and family. That’s why it needs to be both beautiful and functional. Modern technology and materials make food preparation functional not just from cooking point of view; but also, a part of home décor and style. In this video I have shared few kitchen designing or interiors tips from my experience. Hope this video helps you in deciding where to start and what materials to choose.

Ashu your kitchen is beautiful. Thanks for the valuable tips. Personally after having an open kitchen for last 20 years. I am not in favour of open kitchen system from cleanliness point of view , from having a central Air condition point of view. ideally it's best to have a sink area separately . Ashu I am surprised to see sink area so close to the cooktop ! Moreover I think it is not even vastu compliant since you mentioned vastu. One sink is outdated! Secondly, why no dishwasher in the kitchen. A fixed dishwasher is must in a modern kitchen. One should be futuristic while building a home. More so we can't keep waiting for maids to empty the sink or dip our fingers all the time to keep the open kitchen clean. I have a bosch dishwasher but since it could not be fixed it's utility has become half. But I still feel so empowered by it's convenience. If maid is absent I quickly load it and keep the kitchen spick and span. Looking forward to see more videos from your new home.
Thank you...We don't have centralized AC's here and my kitchen is actually not fully open, it is attached to the dining area which is separate area in our house away from the living room. The plumbing point was givenhere by the builder. We couldn't change. But this sink is not for washing
utensils. It is a small sink for washing hands and vegetables during cooking. May be it is outdated but i prefer steel finish over new sinks which are made of fiber. SS sinks are scratch free n last longer. Sometime functionality is more important than what is in trend. We have a separate utility area for washing utensils which was not shown in this video. Yes, having a dishwasher is a good idea but i can't recommend that as it;s a personal choice of having it or not. Even if i buy it in the future it will be kept in utility area that's why haven't left the space for it in the main kitchen.

Nice video maam. We will be doing renovation of our kitchen its having less cabinet and is a huge kitchen but the problem here is ants i dont knw from where they have come. So can you make a video on how to get rid of them permanently or how to keep them away from our kitchen. I used vinegar water solution but still they come. Give and idea if we need to do pesticides and how to go about. Pls help

Could you please give the information on the kitchen window blinds da that you have used ...and also pls do tell about the maintenance about the blinds .
They are called PVC blinds. Nothing much you have to do. Just do regular dusting And wipe them with mild soapy water once a month. That's it!
