  • There’s still plenty of work to do in Belmore but NRL Round 3 was our best indication yet that the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are trending in the right direction.
Against the Gold Coast Titans on Saturday, this improving Bulldogs attack found different ways to use Viliame Kikau as a catalyst for points a few tackles later. His ability to scramble the defensive line and inject panic or fatigue in the opposition is what led to four well-constructed scoring actions for the Bulldogs in Round 3.

mate this is super impressive analysis you would have had to have played alot of footy to spot these nuances in terms of the higher level game plan coming off in a series of plays like that

this stuff coming off in a game is entirely dependent on so many other things, like kick pressure, kick chase, line speed and ball control which act like force multipliers and equal field position and possession, and faster play the balls. people think footy players are boofheads and all they do is charge into the other team lol

Lets hope Kikau stays healthy for the year. Him and Kiraz are genuine strike options for Canterbury, and dont they need it.
