This was a low scoring game, actually they haven't score any try in it, but it was a classic. Such a masterpiece. I cannot understand why such a low crowd. Rugby Union can never match such a high and exiting tempo.
NZ is a far better side this time. This quarter final will be tough for us, but if they give the same effort like last time... who knows. PNG will certainly make some moves this weekend.
They played quite ok... Kikau is the main factor, credits to him. Tough man but never in history they beat Kumuls. I think its the passion and heart that win every games for Kumul against Batis. Tough Melenesian opponents.
You make a fair point there about Fiji having trouble each time we face PNG. On paper, Fiji seems to be the better team overall, but in key positions such as dummy-half and playmakers, I think PNG still had the lead and that was where they beat Fiji. Segeyaro, Lam and Boas just proved to be better than Hayne, Raiwalui and Lovodua. I think there is an obvious big factor there also - Kikau did not play :-)
Niumaia Karavaki Both teams were missing gun players. For Fiji they were missing Koroisau, Kikau more and PNG were missing Mead, Macdonald and all the other England boys. It would have been better if all the stars were playing
What do you mean never in history...we first beat them in Port Moresby wayback 1994/95..while other Pacific Teams are bringing out top players for the Pacific Test...Fiji was busy nurturing players for the World Cup by giving players from NRL age group( U 20)"and NRL feeder clubs a taste of International matches..Png Kumul should've been way much better out of all the Pacific teams but remember Rugby League is only 26years old in Fiji..
Fijian boys big strong n fast love watching them play
That was a beautiful game.

Rugby league being the national sport of PNG and still they can't get into the quaters or semis 💩💩
He wears 2 odd footy boots
He has a mean step and an offload. Panthers could have done better this year though
Vunivalu was wearing his other ones
Kikau making Shaun Johnson look like a Pony...again
