Right-of-Way rules are simple: major road over minor road; straight through traffic over turning traffic; and right turning traffic over left turning traffic. Stop at stop signs, give way at YIELD signs and follow the instructions of the traffic light. Not give way is the leading cause of traffic crashes. In many cases a crash can be avoided simply by slowing and letting the other vehicle or road user proceed.
Good luck on your road test.

Taking mine in a few hours, I’m out in Missouri realized your from Canada and thought I messed up but I realized that the road laws can’t be that much different than ours. Not religious but if there is anyone out there who is then pray for me cause I need it😂. I need to pass bad. I’m late on learning to drive I’m in my 20s and learned how to drive like 5 months ago

You're going to do awesome. Remember to breathe. That will cause your body to relax my friend. And you're correct - it's not that different here "up north." The test will have certain things they need you to do, but for the most part it's the same my friend. Good luck. All the best, Cheers Rick

Thanks, Rick, for the great words of advice once again. I've got my driving license a month ago and I'm already a much more confident driver knowing what things are right and what things are wrong on the road (from a defensive driving point of view). I am also less concerned about other drivers' attitude because I know they are practicing social driving and not following the rules. I think it's one of the most important skills you need to learn as a new driver: not to feel pressured and affected by other drivers. In the end it doesn't matter if you saved a few minutes or let others save a few minutes but rather how much risky situations you put yourself and others in.
Here in Bulgaria we have a saying that roughly translates to "The road is not measured in time". The meaning is that even if you know the length of your trip in kilometers you always have to account for slowdowns and unexpected events that may change your plans. And generally not to rush yourself while driving because rushing and not giving yourself enough time to think and make a decision is what causes accidents most of the time.

Hey, can you teach us how driving instructors tell a driver is looking where they need to? My mum really can't tell if I really am looking and she gets nervous about that. I wish I could prove that I am ready to drive on my own, and I'm really struggling.

My problem is if I am going straight I sometimes go to fast and when I am turning I go to slow. I need to learn how to turn without going to slow
