- My personal favorite Spellcards are Hong Meiling's "Three Steps / Colorful Mountain Crusher" and Youmou Konpaku's "Obsessor / Slash of Eternity.
This video needed a long time to produce...mainly because Windows Movie Maker sucks X-D
I'm using another video editing program now, which works better :-D
The spellcard records were made in "Practice Mode".

Practice mode: pro
Story mode: trash
The key is 236D.
If your using keyboard, press Right, Right+Down, Down and D.
Right+Down is the same as diagonal left down command in the game. You just have to keep practising, that's all.

C'mon, you HAVE to admit that Sakuya's Private Square and Sakuya's World are the most awesome moves in this game! They're not as damaging as maybe Marisa's Final Spark (COMPLETE overkill), but hey, it's ZA WARUDO!

Down+Down/Right+Right+D = SpellAttack

You know what I don't like about the four fighting games; they never give us full spell cards (like the bosses use) where it gives us a time limit to spam it as much as we please with it's own energy bar to cool down before we spam it again...

I got it!
Using keyboard: Down, Down+"Button 4" i got the "button 4" configured like "V" (Activate spell)
When spell active: Down, Down+Left, Left+"Button 4" (spell attack)
But it's just the first spell attack
U need do it fast

@@joangomezscarecrowjg1280 El boton 4 es el boton con el que al presionar haces un especie de dash, en mi caso el predeterkinado era el boton "A", simplemente presiona abajo, abajo+A y se activa la spell card, luego de eso haces la combinacion que te sale al poner pausa, mayormente es como un hadouken, ejemplo, el de reimu es, abajo + diagonal abajo derecha + derecha + A (el mismo boton que usaste para activarlo) perdon por responder tarde recien empece a meterme profundo en touhou, antes sabia poco menos y escuchaba su soundtrack, ahora me decidi a jugarlo y hasta ver los anime creados por fans XD
Aunque me da pena no haberlo descubierto antes, como por el 2010 almenos para su mejor momento con videos musicales y videos de fans mas seguido, en ese entonces tenia 8 años y apenas sabia usar la compu :'c, ahora recien que descubro este mundo quisiera estar en esa epoca XD

You didn't show the alternate inputs for either of Marisa's Orreries cards or Yukari's Ran Yakumo+ card. If Marisa inputs Down Backward D, she will throw the orreries like a boomerang toward the opponent, and they will redirect after a bit to go toward the opponent again. If Yukari inputs Down Backward D during Ran Yakumo+, she will throw Ran's shikigami, Chen, who will bounce around instead of flying directly toward the opponent.
sakuya will slow down time as well
I can imagine someone in their childhood played this game. It’s not hard to imagine a 9 year old boy discovering this game he downloaded on his parents’ computer.

Down, down and C should activate a bomb.
To use spellcards you have to push right arrow, then right/down arrow (both), then down arrow and finally D.

for the spell cards to do the button combinations have to be really quick or alittile bit slower
@omeleques1 it's actually the same as using a bomb, but you press D instead

Been trying in practice for ages with no success. V, down down V, down back V, back down V, red life, white life, nothing happens at all with the inputs, not even a spell card selection. I'm seriously not getting this, I can pull off the other moves just fine, but nothing with the spell cards.

@omeleques1 umm reread yours, you said you push the right arrow and then, activating spell cards has nothing to do with right arrow, so don't go trolling for no reason.
Let's be real, Killing Doll and Phantasmic Killer are a lot cooler in IaMP.
Marisa's Spell's. U forgot that if u use ball spell-card, u can do reverse-card. And the ball will fly to enemy.

Same with yukaris second sign for ran, if you do 236 4 you get ran, if you do 214 4 you get chen

Same way. But your timing must be more reactive. If you want to use stuff like Love Sign [Magicannon], which is far stronger and longer than Love Sign [Master Spark], you would need to be on like, 2-1 +
William Cha No, all spell cards are activated with down down D, but they are used with QCF D. As in Down Forward D.
