Remember, in an earlier scene where Javi brings the Byrds pastries, Wendy tells Javi that they can’t push too hard on Darlene because she controls the local Sheriff. As erratic as he is, had they not told him that I think Nix would have probably lived 💀
Javi already knew about the heroin op, Darlene was gonna die unless she stopped shipping product. Poor Nix tho, as far as we knew he was a good man who tried to do his job well, even tho he was bribed on numerous occasions
Right, the man was so damn unpredictable. I have to throw in Darlene in there as well lmao, both those characters could kill anyone at any given moment and never fked around. Kind of fitting that Javi took out the reckless Darlene Snell. Poor fkin Wyatt, all the Langmores besides Cade had good intentions, they just were either out of their depth, too good or naive for the dirty game they were in, or just generally hopeless and ready to accept death/low expectations/lag more curse
Maybe it's me, but it seems like there are a lot of similarities between Javier and Lalo Salamanca from "Better Call Saul". It's as if both shows simultaneously decided they needed an intelligent, handsome, charming, and psychopathic Mexican cartel prince.
Maybe, but lalo I’m afraid is more dangerous than him, as he’s much smarter Plus he was able to get away from the ambush, meaning he has some military experience
@@sylvester3018 yeah javi is nothing compared to lalo. Lalo is just a different monster man, he would have never been in that vulnerable position to get shot like the way javi did. He’d make sure no one could come behind him at all times because he’s just that paranoid and ready for anything. Especially if he’s doing an important meeting with the likes of the birds
Honestly once they killed off Nix I had a feeling they were going to go hard with the deaths…and I was right. No one was off limits man and part 2 is going to go even harder with the deaths I just know it.
This to me was the dumbest character to kill on account of him being not only a cop but a sheriff. The other kills I could suspend my belief enough to think they could have covered it up somehow, but Nix would have a tracker on his cruiser, once he went missing wouldn't take long for the authorities to track where his cruiser went, (to the Byrds, than a crematorium owned by the Bryds, incriminating enough already) find it, watch the dash cam footage and find blood or at least some sample of Nix's DNA in the trunk.
They probably burned the body before anyone knew he was mising. I don't know if in real life cops can track the last location of the tracking device though.
@@Ema-fm5zy They arrive in this location and find his DNA so what. Javi will went back to Mexico stay there a while then when from the Brydes when this part is dealt with he will come back. Note: Javi is not a wanted Narco just a Mexican. Many druglords family members lives in US, Canada silently.
I love the show but the writing went to shit in season 4. How were they going to be allowed to leave the gang life when the one promising this was going to retire. Javi would just kill them since they knew too much? Maybe a small town PD would be lax with paperwork but there's no shot a sheriff who knew something was up with some gang shit wouldn't leave a note just in case. Also no shot there wouldn't be state investigators there the following day or two at that house since it was the last place he reported going to. I'm done after this disaster of a plot hole
I'm not saying this isn't just an oversight but this also isn't necessarily true. The bullet doesn't necessarily have to completely exit to cause splatter from the back. It could have became lodged yet penetrated deep enough, with enough destructive force, to cause the relevant 'internal stuff' to project back toward the glass. Have seen cases of projectiles in videos and stories from ER staff doing weird things too. Entering at one angle but then going a completely different direction than you'd expect, like entering from the front and then changing course south the body. It happens and introducing a skull to the mix can certainly contribute. Judging by the sound this is also likely meant to represent something like a .45 which will deliver more energy and expansion but generally have less velocity and effective penetration over something like a 9mm making it more susceptible to lodging and deviation in its pathing.
@@Tyler-js5wznot saying thats not possible but at that distance the anything bigger than a .380 (which that definitely is) will easily pass through taking a lot of the back of the skull with it.
Such a shame for this character. He had no redeeming actions. Was just a stuge who had no spine or say over his own life. He was pulled by the nose by many the main characters and his death was quickly forgotten.

It's not that simple when you're dealing with a cartel and a family that owns the midwest lol.

A Mexican cartel listening to “Bam Bam” while killing a sheriff gotta be the most unbelievable scenario
Jajajajaja ay carnal que alejado de la realidad estas, conozco sicarios de jalisco que matan escuchando billie Joel.
Have you listened to the words of " Bam Bam"? Very apropos.
The song was perfect, especially when the chorus was lined up perfectly to the sheriff being shot.
Its not even his crib, so its not his music.
He studied in Chicago. Not that type of Mexican who brings his culture anywhere he goes.
But he didn't shoot the deputy.
This music is just so perfect for this scene.😂 absolutely love it.
No bullet hole in the glass. Attention to detail, folks.
Not all bullets are made to go right through you… if they dont go through you there more deadly duh
I WAS ALSO THINKING THAT
I just replay this part to listen sister Nancy music playing
I was always scared of Javi everytime he came around
The dude is greedy and overambitious. Two characteristics that always make a person unhinged. Very dangerous individual because he is so reckless.
@@tessy28 he was just reckless
"You're the sheriff.. like.. like THE sheriff.. wow"
He already had plans to kill the sheriff && he made it easy by coming to him lol
My man, the sheriff got Jamaican Bam Bam 🔫
If the blood is splattering out of the back of his dome the bullet passed through and would bust the glass.

About that lol old men thought he was untouched
What a “Bam, Bam” in Jamaican slang means what a Calamity. So this lines up perfectly
I think they should have played Bob Marley song “I shot the Sheriff”.
I remember screaming at the telly, nooo sheriff nicks, I can't hear this track without this scene
Great song to smoke a joint n be high to lol
