They bash on it of how the game looks and compares it to outdated mobile or PS2 games (nevermind the fact that it runs BETTER than a PS2/mobile game) and the M-Rated RPG game Persona 5. To start with Mobile/PS2 Games comparison, DC Superhero Girls Teen Power sometimes have low quality textures, strange character movements and the HUD look like something from a outdated Barbie game. And to end with Persona 5 comparison, both DC and P5 has high school teenagers living a double life as a student for school during the day and a masked superhero during the night, fighting enemies who somehow randomly appears out of nowhere. Just you wait until Teen Power appears in Crappy Games Wiki

I wouldn't say this is a terrible game, I think it's the price point that turns people off. It's just not a $60 game. Persona is actually on-sale right now for $39 and at that price point you're getting more value for your money.
