a dj's mix is a reflection of there own personal style. not what everyone thinks is awesome. people will continue to come to your show or download your work because they like your style. I personally don't usually put other people's anthems in my mixes. because anthems are made for a specific event and ment to be played there by the producers who put the countless hours in to making them. if you want that track in a mix, you could buy the qlimax mix and enjoy it that way.

These mixes shouldn't have awkward transitions. (f.e. 20:36) I'm sure a lot of people will think I'm talking bs and they think "the more the better" but that's just not me. I agree with your critique, but that being said, I don't think Isaac should neccessarily drop the ammount of tracks. Year after year, it's been incredibly inspiring seeing him surpass himself and add tracks, and I support wholeheartedly this drive for excellence. I think it would be enough if he were careful with jarring transitions such as the one you mentioned or Ready to Rage to Gravity. While I am here, I'll also mention another DJ whose work is off the charts, and that would be Gammer. The reason I mention him is that I feel Isaac might find something interesting in his mixing; I know he has influenced the way I approach mixing now. I'll specifically mention a short segment from one of his videos (/watch?v=-pt9CGeNnBI), starting 14:30 and finishing at around 18:16. Mint stuff.

I'm sorry Isaac, I really do like this podcast and you're mixing on yearmixes is always perfect (this is probably the reason why you didn't include them since you have been working on this for a long time), but you have to admit the thing people will remember about hardstyle 2016 will be Qlimax...
I'm sorry you're not satisfied this time. I have to make choices at some point. Lot's of other Coone tracks tho. Oh.. and the new Project One will probably be released next year so that's Yearmix 2017 material;)
