Colin Quinn used the term "savages" frequently. Of course Jimmy picked it up (like so many other phrases-baby boy) and Ant started using it as well. It was never about race but about behavior
This is the key thing. You can't censor what someone says online. Sure, companies & websites can decide what they will allow on their site. But individuals aren't allowed to decide what is acceptable on the base level of the users of the service. It's the creators decision on what's allowed. Sirius, XM, FM radio, the FCC decided what they permitted. I'm not saying go into the street and start calling people British cigarettes or dropping N-bombs for no reason. I'm only saying that people should be allowed to say whatever they want. When individuals start telling people what they can or cannot say, the humans lose an important distinction from other animals. Speech is a major tool we have, and having others decide on a base level what we are and aren't allowed to say is subtracting from that freedom. I've had twitch, RUclips, Facebook, Instagram accounts banned for what I choose to say. It won't stop me from getting banned again. It's my freedom to say the racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic, "not transphobic because that's aren't a real thing" comments that eventually get me banned. You take the good with the bad. But it's still my right to say what I want. Even if the others around me find it offensive. Anthony is a funny guy who says funny things. A great example is the rant while he was streaming. That was all funny stuff. Everyone is so soft and quick to act offended. It's gross.
"I'm not saying go into the street and start calling people British cigarettes or dropping N-bombs for no reason" 1) well why not? that goes against your whole rant. 2) "for no reason"? so there's a reason to do that? i'd like to hear it plz
I don't agree with it but I do UNDERSTAND companies policing speech on their own platforms. If Anthony lost his Twitter because of his tweets, oh well. But when a big company basically determines "we own you" so you can't say what you want ANYWHERE ELSE, it's insane. Especially when you're job is to speak
Dear Mike Jim Norton mentioned in an interview that the XM merger was taking place at the same time Anthony had his little twitter mishap. Apparently someone in the media questioned whether Anthony would harm the merger. Another fine video guys. Thanks
I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing but I basically agree with your opinion but I'll admit I'm a Cumia "fan" What's Kirk opinion on Opie and Anthony and that cancellation??? Did Kirk know them?
Recently he tweeted out a story about some high school students who were killed in a school bus crash on the way to a marching band competition. No joke, no other context, just "LOL" because some black kids died. Pretty indefensible. Depressing how much these Dabbleverse types still look up to this pos.
He’s in a quick cognitive decline. People with early onset dementia are cagey like that. His disgusting, predictable racism has always been there but his advanced age and addiction issues are accelerating it. He has fulfilled his USS Water Buffaler nightmare.
He did a TACS episode in response to that getting posted. I believe the defense was he was playing it up for Nick's audience. Again, is there some truth and reality to his racism in that act? I think so. But he also has been broadcasting or over a decade and definitely plays up or overreacts for the crowd/gag.
I mean anytime a guest would come on the show, and ask if he was a racist, he would say he was. Was he joking? Was he playing it up for the crowd? Was he but it did not interfere with the show? Was it due to upbringing? Only Anthony knows
It is a shame that Cumia is a racist and a cynical misanthrope in general because he is really funny. I guess the key to appreciating him is just not taking what he says seriously. In real life maybe he is a good guy. I've heard people say that he really is and everything else is an act.
Shock! Horror! It's possible to have certain cultural views brought on by a lifetime of experiences and observations and still be a good person. I've certainly never heard of Anthony showing any sort of active IRL prejudice against black people in terms of who he is friends with and who he has on his network.
@@RolandDeschain1 so he just shit talks black ppl as a whole but he's nice to the ones he knows IRL? Thats not being a good person, pretty sure that's called cowardice.
You’re right context is important, and Anthony has always had a problem. He’s actually lucky he kept his job as long as he did.
today context is gone, black and white. say the N world which is basically getttign away with saying .......i wont say it rn but anyway
He should have never lost it
Fan from New Zealand. Best show I've found recently. I'm a huge fan of old school o&a
Welcome aboard!
I remember seeing ants tweets in real time 😂
damn. did you screenshot them, you dont have to tell me obv
He tweeted 6 symbols in between two quotation marks and the 3rd and 4th symbols were the same. Uh oh.
Colin Quinn used the term "savages" frequently. Of course Jimmy picked it up (like so many other phrases-baby boy) and Ant started using it as well. It was never about race but about behavior
Another line he pilfered and commonly used around 2005-2015: ‘shut yer face!!’

Working class Anthony would say "if you want to help me stop stealing 30% of my money via taxes"
Trying to edit gameplay here dudes. Cant distract me with a BMP
I love the Young Turks gal saying "there is no evidence of an assault." Same person who champions believe all women without a shred of evidence.
Good job with these shows 👍
Thanks!
I wasnt laughing when he was fired
Me neither, but I distinctly heard Opie giggle in the distance

You may be thinking of something else. The SiriusXM merger took place in 2008. Anthony got fired in 2014
@@BlindMikeProject thanks for letting me know, I’ll look it up. I think it might have been when Jim was on Rogan.

Exactly Mike...Anthony is a articulate fellow
Damn Mike I thought we were about the same age but I’m 12 years older
Mike you aren't a racist, but I did hear that you were gay

Any chance for an episode on Robert Klein? I legitimately don't understand why people are laughing or why he can't stop his legs.

Funny how Howard Stern use to get away with the same thing. WTF?

Anthony is a terrible person, it’s been proven time and time again. You’re trying to say he doesn’t mean black people come on Mike. Be serious. .
do you guys think anthony likes Twitter?
