Okay kind of personal but this reminds me when I started to be a older pre teen, I had a short existencal crisis over if ill forget my earlier childhood likings and memories, like how the adults express they olny remember main memories or nothing really. On another note about actually the video, the whole backround of bright fun spotted colours and TV like things with the net like texture reminding of playing in theme parks or playgrounds, and watching shows on the TV really just feel so incredibley presented
So what I'm getting from this is that all these little animal things are immortal (the broken hourglass) and can't be seen by most people (hence the psych ward?) but the gal™ can see them. They got super attached to her because of it ("there you are!" looked super buddy/clingy) and are trying to make her immortal like them forcefully ("you'll get older" looking defeated with the syringe), she doesn't want it and is running from them, but either gets caught/forcefully turned or chose to be turned (the mirror at the end) edit to change her pronouns ^^
also I think the ‘little creatures’ were once human too. Since the human girl (once having become immortal) looks into a mirror and sees one of the little animals as them, they’ll eventually grow up and turn into one??

This is the first video I watched on this channel and I keep coming back. I’m still amazed about how good the concept and animation is. The colors in the room and general background fit together and I think the character designs are what draws me the most in❤️ Especially the opening!

I think the animals are like fear of growing up, they are attached to her and she tries to run away from them but she struggles a lot, and I think like the cat with the needle, it was for numbing her so she can't move, like she feels traped by time passing by And like the bubble room, i think it's her mind and suddenly, her fears appeared Okay I watched it again and I think she actually kind of success to get past her fears since like she gets out the dark room, and maybe, she sees herself as a kid in the mirror but then, she finally sees herself as an adult and accepted that she's an adult now
My theory is that this person, who is clearly much more different than their surroundings, is trapped in a world where people that had a ‘cute and cuddly’ animal exterior turned out to be trying to force them to be like them, and at the end you can see they have a tail, meaning they are beginning to give into it. The cat comes up to them and says ‘you’ll get older’ probably referring to how parents say ‘it’s just a phase’, meaning they’ll grow out of it and be ‘normal’ eventually
theory : the human is stuck in another world with these animal figures. he tries to find his way out but is unsuccessful. the animals act like his friends to inject a potion which turns him into the animal figures. he escapes but his transformation is nearly completed.

To not over-use my measly brain so much, I think those companions are sort of like imaginated friends, not on a toddler level, but still 'friends' in a way. Aiding the main girl on her way to growing up/adulthood. I seriously love the scenarios! And the work and time put into this! I can tell it was long 👏👏💞💞 (Edited for spelling mistakes)
To me, this feels like the girl is a teen/young adult struggling with the idea of growing up. There are hourglass symbols throughout the video and by the end of the video, the hourglasses are broken and have ran out of sand, possibly representing how she is out of time. The animals chasing her and trying to inject something into her arm could represent her inner turmoil of growing up or abandoning her childhood. I got this idea because when the animals find her, she continues to run away from them It's a common feeling for teens to go through a phase in their life where they feel like they are growing up too fast or that they have ro abandon their childish interests to mature. It's something that I sorta went through a few months ago so maybe that's why I see this video in that way. Great art by the way, I love the colors!
