In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. Your scrap run videos are more interesting than what you get paid for it all. I like going with my husband just to watch the Claw and huge magnet pick up stuff!! It's not the money, it's the experience for me. And I love the music.

The medical devices that found in this video are CPAP & BIPAP machines, They are used for individuals that have sleep apnea issues. The settings have to be programmed according to the individuals Sleep study results, only a certified medical representative at the medical device company can upload the settings to those devices. Hope this helps you.
The one complete kit you unzipped is the model that I use. I got it through my medical benefits and that kit was $1800.00 (Canadian) I can't believe the'd just toss it like that.
But as another poster said it's not much good to someone unless you have all the testing done and you get fitted by a respiratory therapist who can read the sleep study data.
You can program them yourself. I do whenever I get one.
@@richardveazey3457 Yes that part of it is easy. You can adjust the inches/centimeters of water column easily if you know what number is the recommended amount for you.
My Dreamcast cpap cost $1800AUD and yes i had to go through a sleep study to get it programmed. Were lucky here in Australia with our low income medical it only costs me $100/year to rent it.
@@jiminycricket2230 They also have a limited number of hours until they’re not considered safe to use anymore, some people will use them past their quota but service centers will trash units with too many hours on them.
I agree with you about those storage units... Ridiculous. Looks like the people there already pick through it anyway. Paying for trash... Yikes!!!

Always look at the flatwear (silverware). I've found old sterling and sought after stainless flatwear amongth the common stuff....

Hey man, let me give you some sound advice. When I'm out scrapping, I don't pay any attention to passersby. Just ignore them and tend to business. You'll have a lot less stress on you. Keep keeping on. Peace.😇

I had family members that had to use breathing machines . If you sold them online as is you could help someone save money that they probably need to spend on other things. And help them possible be more comfortable in their later days or final days

I live in Massachusetts and I used to go to a car wash to get returnable bottles and cans. I used to find cassette tapes a whole bag of pennies. And all kinds of stuff it was fun!

Mike you scare the crap out of me every time you land on your feet. I cringe when you jump because I broke both ankles in the military when I jumped and landed on my feet. Ole shit...Must be PTSD...haha
When I was in elementary school it was a “rite of passage,” to climb on to the roof of the school and jump off onto the sidewalk. I was never taught how to land so I assumed I was supposed to land with my feet flat.
The shock and pain that ran up my legs when I landed is not something I’ll ever forget.

It is incredible to see all that in the garbage, the first thing you took out are oxygen machines with its package, the BPAP is a device that is used to sleep due to sleep apnea. It's sad, I have asked for the package for my oxygen and they haven't brought it to me, and seeing them in the garbage is sad.

I was at the J.m. Smucker,s store last Saturday in Orville, Ohio and seen some of that 1850 coffee on clearance with some Folgers coffee.ur gonna have to tell me how good it was.

CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure and Bi-PAP is Bi-level Positive Airway Pressure. The Bi-PAP sends one pressure level when you inhale and another when you exhale.

Mike, what you are finding are C PAP and BI PAP machines... some of which are on recall.
The rope packing looks a lot like weather striping used in some older cars from the 50s and 40s I used to try to restore you know like around the trunks and doors. You could maybe look into that.
That one was new you threw back after you opened it. You are correct some of those oxygen supplies do cost thousands and insurance will not cover them. Bi pap machines are for people who have sleep apnea,also expensive...

10:10 That clear plastic tank on the bi-pap machine is a humidifier. I'd buy it from you. My insurance doesn't cover it. It's probably $200 brand new. Those are some serious money for some plastic
I know alot of lower income families that could use the Cpap machines you can donate them to a homeless shelter, and as for the construction stuff, why not donate to habitat for humanity
Because if it malfunctions at the wrong time it could kill someone, these units are thrown away for a reason.

Lower income people usually qualify for health insurance that covers cpap machines and supplies.
i was thinking, the medic machines, if their still sealed you could donate them to retirement homes so the folks who needs them can save a bit of money. it's worth a try

Even if you don’t resale it or donate it there is hood scrap value in them.
The air hose is #2 copper wire the water tank is stainless steel and copper and aluminum and eboards inside $$$$$$$
