The Loboc River Resort may be 'in a (Filipino) province', but it has a safety deposit box, something that on recent travels to France and Italy I again found was extremely rare in three star hotels. The room size is also extremely generous. Kudos to Rob for informing us about the rooster noise: not something I enjoy. This is what sets his reviews apart from so-called rubbishy 'influencers': Rob has a good idea what travellers may like, and what they don't. He doesn't exaggerate, or fill videos with too many shots of himself. Given huge flooding from a typhoon, it was an achievement to have the resort open within three months. The manner in which Rob Brand videod both establishments was terrific, allowing viewers to fully appreciate the facilities. The outdoor shower at the second place looks inviting but I agree, on balance, the Loboc River Resort is the better of the two. Very good advice from Rob to consider splitting your holiday: I still need to go to Anda, so next time may give Alona Beach a miss.
Thanks again Edmund. Staying by the Loboc certainly makes a change from the busy Alona Beach area. Yeah Anda is awesome. I was going to do a guide on where to stay there but I just need to get back and check out a few more places. Take care and happy holidays
@@FindingParadise I wouldn't be alone in hoping you can travel to Anda and update your review(s). They are such a great guide to exploring Philippines. The Department of Tourism ought give you some official recognition for the effort you put in. Informative and useful.

Cheers. It's a great place in Bohol
The place and the food looks good.
I enjoyed it. It's a good alternative to the floating restaurant buffet.

I’d be so preoccupied thinking a crocodile was waiting for me in that river! Beautiful place, I’d love to visit.
Nah the only thing you have to worry about is getting overcharged for a tour along the river!
