Why is it, that my posts go to explore and have a good engagement but they don't go to the TOP section on hashtags, even for low competition #s, where posts with way less likes are hovering on TOP even some accounts with multiple posts? I can't make sense of it.
Oof, how rude! But Instagram measures all sorts of factors, not just likes. Comments, shares, saves, profile visits, time spent. Plus, you should remember that your explore page is customized for you, not necessarily what anyone else sees.

I found this super helpful, thank you! Once you've created your content pillars/categories how do you know which content to post on which channels? On your video you put X8 a week for entertainment, X2 a week for promo and X2 a week for company culture. How would you decide which of this content to post on which channel if you have Instagram/Facebook/Twitter?
Hi Maddy! Thank you so much for watching! I would take two things into account: 1) what your analytics say about what has performed well on each channel in the past (your audience will generally expect different things from you on Twitter vs. Instagram); and 2) consider how each platform's features can be used: e.g., Instagram you can only post links in Stories, or your bio, so driving traffic can be a little tougher, whereas Reels/tweets have a greater potential for virality if you hit the right note with your entertainment posts. It's an art as much as a science!

You can also work backwards: get demographics about your existing audience (where they live, how old they are, etc.) and then work from there.
