Its worth the wait/watch in my opinion :). Love how the space feels completely different and open with just a railing upgrade. Thanks so much for watching.
Thanks so much for the input and support MC. Figured it would be handy for two different types of searches but it does look like most people would prefer it in one :)
Easy to stay motivated and high energy when you love what you do for a living. I spent way too much time not being able to say that in my adult life but luckily I am where I am today thanks to all the individuals like yourself who enjoy and share my content with others. I've always been an individual that loves working with their hands and staying physically active. Helping others learn how to build in a visual way give me passion in life because RUclips helped me learn to love learning in a new way. I'm dyslexic and finding RUclips as a teaching tool completely transformed the way I though about learning. As far as diet goes, I eat pretty healthy but nothing crazy. Always start off the day right with a few eggs and never drink energy drinks. Thanks so much for the kind words and your support Derek. Truly appreciated.
Question: what are the advantages or disadvantages of installing the trim base over top the edge of the flooring vs creating the trim base to the subfloor and then installing lvt flush against the trim base?
In most cases, municipalities require building permits on interior work that involves relocating or adding electric, plumbing, gas lines. Checking with your municipality is always a good idea.
1/8" lip at the top intersection because you butted a mitered edge up to a flat board. No glue use. No ram board down on the floors. Good effort but room for improvements.
If I was doing the demolition from the get go I would completely agree with you but keep in mind that I did the demolition prior to the flooring installation for exactly the that reason. To protect the floors. Client didn't want a bunch of paper on the floors and I assure you everything was vacuumed and swept by me personally everyday I was out there when installation was happening. Thanks for watching.
I would like both parts in one video but only because I'm impatient and don't want to wait until next week! 🤣 Excellent work as always Brent 👌👍
Thanks so much for the honesty and input Brian. Greatly appreciated and I’ll keep that in mind in future projects.
Agreed!
I'm just so impressed that u didnt cover the wood flooring while painting! And, no drips, splashes, or spills! Amazing.
Changed the entire look and feel of the room. Very nice job!
I couldn't agree more. Thanks so much for watching!
I would love it if it was just one video. Great job on the trim work.
Thanks so much for your input and the support of the channel. Truly appreciated and I will keep that in mind in future projects
Beautiful work. I’d prefer one single video. Easier to re-reference for my own home projects.
Thanks so much for your input and all the support of the video. Truly appreciated and hope you watch part two :)
I cannot wait to see how you installed the railing. Looks good for now.
Its worth the wait/watch in my opinion :). Love how the space feels completely different and open with just a railing upgrade. Thanks so much for watching.
I would like them both in one video because I don’t wanna wait another week for amazing content. Keep up the great work! 👍
Thanks so much for the input and for watching.
I think I watch this video once every 5 months. I have the same setup in my foyer and want to put railing instead of a wall.
Me too!! Do you think I can attempt this on my own? I love tools but have never done anything like this! I am an interior designer🤷🏻♀️
Wow what a change!
Right?! Love how the space feels now. Thanks so much for watching.
@@BYOTools I love to see that you love what you do and you understand everything of building :) how did you learn that all?
Totally agree we not like to wait, both in one video would be lovely. Wonderful job!!
Great video and explanation!
Thanks so much for watching buddy and all the support.
Amazing work brother!!
Thanks so much for the kind words and support Mike.
I’m glad you’re back !
Best in two that way it can be used as a comparison 🎉
Thanks so much for the input and support MC. Figured it would be handy for two different types of searches but it does look like most people would prefer it in one :)
Wow made such a big difference!
DEFINATELY combine the videos.
Thanks so much for the input amber. Greatly appreciate the support.
Beautiful work and thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and taking the time to show us & teach us what you know. I've learned a ton 🙏💜🤘
Nice work. Two videos or one it's all good.
Wow nice job
Love the content you produce! Very motivating! Now, I just need to know how you have so much energy? Diet? Energy drinks? I need to know.

came out really nice!
That is exactly what I want to do to my home.
Awesome job!
Great job
Question: what are the advantages or disadvantages of installing the trim base over top the edge of the flooring vs creating the trim base to the subfloor and then installing lvt flush against the trim base?
Great job. How long did it take you to complete the project?
How much would it cost to demolish the dry wall and install cable railing?
Any idea what flooring was used? Nice job!
I would prefer them both to be in the same video.... when will you be posting how to add the railings?? :)
What about the reverse?
No drop clothes/paper beyond the tape, on a brand new floor?
How much would this cost if done by a professional?
Could you please give me a link for part 2 video?
What's the total cost of the project?
Who do I call? Any suggestions? I’m in Dallas Tx
Hi, can you advise which Bosch sander you’re using?
Thanks for asking and here it is: amzn.to/3EBgS9x
Building permit required for this work?

Honestly I prefer the previous railings by a longshot.
They didn’t have railings. They had walls.
What’s a round about price of this kind of job
I wonder how soundproof this house is. Doesn't it have real walls?
What do you mean by "Real Walls" haha?! Are you looking for insulation?
I'm trying to decide if I like it more, haha.

One video
🙏👏👍💪
Thanks so much for watching as always Alain.
All those joints and no glue.. prepare your client for hairline cracks..
first!
On top of it today Omar. Nice work!
🤣🤣 "minused it"... Also known as subtracted.. c'mon man
Well it can be used the same exact way, but I do agree one more "Proper" then the other haha! Thanks for watching Romian and all the support..
I would like it if you fixed your audio levels and pronounced “let’s get started” correctly.
personally i would not hire you,due to the fact of not protecting the new flooring that was installed.
If I was doing the demolition from the get go I would completely agree with you but keep in mind that I did the demolition prior to the flooring installation for exactly the that reason.
