this is only good for space and mecha games, things you control from a cockpit, decent, affordable vr for other types of games is still miles off and will probably look a good bit different
It's also good for flight and car sims, genres which already have great peripherals available. VR has the potential to take quite a few genres of games and sims to the next level. I personally plan to get a full cockpit setup within the next year and playing the hell out of some car sims.

The potential that VR technology has is unreal!! I can't wait to see how it develops over the next 5-10 years! Maybe a game like this could eventually be a fully open world (Universe) game. Where you can fly your ship and battle on the ground, fully immersed in the story!

I love playing this game. Multiplayer surprisingly fun. Well multiplayer with random people with friends it's obviously fun. Multiplayer with friends is surprisingly fun though
That would actually be a really good idea. After all, Ubisoft is all about "removing social barriers" (hence the non-VR update,) so they might as wel rope in the PVP audience. l don't care, though, I'm poor and have no friends, so any change here really doesn't affect me. *sniff*
