I’m subscribing Dan. Why? Because you’re one smooth operator. Excellent job, very easy to listen to. Appreciate it! Going to Amazon to make my purchase now.

Great! Glad you got your hands on one. These seem to be out of stock recently.

Hi Dan! Was looking for a generator for our camper and this video was EXTREMELY helpful! It is a big investment for me so I wanted to make sure I wasn't buying a lemon, but I also have 4 kiddos so I can't break the bank!
Now that it's been a couple months how is your generator running?
I made sure to use your links provide above. WEN has it on sale right now and I also picked up the magnetic dip-stick on the WEN website as well. Hope you get some kick back for the time you spent on these videos. Once mine is delivered I'm sure I'll be watching your full review video several times!
Thanks again for all our insight... it is very much appreciated! Cheers from Montana!

Hey Garett! Glad my video was helpful. I have used the generator a few times, but honestly my father-in-law has had the best use so far as the power has been turned off several times up in the mountains due to high winds. He borrowed it and had it available for the past 6-weeks and I just got it back. Still works just fine, so let me know how yours works as well!

Dan, Been dealing with power failure here and just picked up a Wen 2350. Just wondering it has a 12volt dc plug. Can you get another inverter that plugs into 12v and run a 1000-2000 inverter to double your capabilities?

Sorry to say that the total power available is limited by the motor itself. You can get the full power from the two outlets provided, use power strips if needed. Also be sure to use good quality extensions cords. Lots of cheap 16AUG cords out there which can't safely carry full power. You want at least a 12AWG to bring power inside from the generator parked down-wind and away from the house..

Dan, Here is why I had ask. First I’m not trying to make the generator do more then it can. I have a Jackery that if you plug into your car using the 12v cord they give you. You draw about 60-70 watts for input. If you charge the Jackery in your home using the adapter you charge at 144 watts. I used a 300 watt inverter in my vehicle then using the home adapter I plug that into the 300watt inverter. I was charging in my vehicle at 144 watts.
My thought is if I can plug that same 300 watt inverter into the 12volt socket of the generator. Then I actually should be able to run anything up to or close to 300 watts.
If I have a larger inverter then that would increase. Logically
I even seen Dr. Hobo on RUclips do this with a 300 watt with 12volt battery to charge a Jackery.
I just don’t want to just try it without asking around. Don’t want to hurt anything.

      That’s Hobotech on RUclips

You can look at the specs for the power the 12v port can deliver, but the 12v and 120Vac power come from the same generator and motor, so the total wattage is likely about the same. If you need more than the 2300w the normal outlets provide then I would step up to the next size generator. Running at max power for long periods isn’t suggested for any motor if you want it to last.

If purchasing this generator it's much cheaper through the manufacturer vs amazon!!

How much quieter would you say this unit is compared to the smaller 56235i you’ve also tested?
Noise is a concern so thinking about purchasing the larger generator to be able to run my load at lower rpm.

Take a look at the comments on the fuel efficiency video: ruclips.net/video/4MiLiYil25Q/видео.html as I answered this question for another guy.
