Hello Dan, These tutorials are extremely valuable for people like us who are learning Industrial Robotics with minimum resources. I have been following your earlier videos and they have helped a lot for programming the Fanuc robot in our University. Is there any possibility where you can make a video on connecting CCW with Fanuc Roboguide and simulate the controlling of the robot with PLC? Keep up your Good work.. With Love from Sri Lanka
That will be difficult. The two simulators don't work well together. Also, the ethernet i/o needs enabled on the physical robot (or a physical I/O card installed). I have a video connecting Compactlogix to a fanuc robot.
Hi Mr Staifer, I go to Ivy Tech in Indianapolis and am in my second year AART. I am in A&R 1 right now and am looking for all of the information I can soak up on the robots. I have downloaded Roboguide and am going thru as many RUclips videos as possible. Did you teach AR1 and did you record all of the classes? If so, are they in sequential order on RUclips. I would like to be able to be prepared a little better when I go to class labs because the e learning is not preparing me i feel. I went to class the other day (first lab) and had a really hard time with the 3point method. I think I got it figured out on Roboguide but still not 100 percent. I was having trouble visualizing the 90 degree angle the robot was supposed to be in. Needless to say i never made it thru the lab. Not sure if you are familiar with this particular lab but I would love to be able to look at that video if you recorded it. I installed the pointer EOAT on the roboguide robot and inserted a square table. I made first point at bottom right corner, second at top right, and third and bottom left of the table. still in class in seemed the instructor wanted the robot arms to be horizontal at all recorded positions and this don't seem to match the youtube video.
I'm teaching that class right now. I refer my students to these videos here when doing frames. I think both of these instructors do a good job of explaining them so I don't feel like I need to recreate the wheel. my class I do in 16 weeks so my class will be a little bit behind yours. I have a playlist with something of sequential order but I supplement other ways too. Dan Staifer thank you! You are great at what you do. Been watching a lot of your videos since they are imbedded in ivy learn. They have been priceless.
Dan Staifer do you tutor ? I am in the same class in Indy. I have roboguide on my pc at home. I’m having trouble in the labs the instructions are very vague. Like today was the circle and I had no clue.
Thank you again brother. I'm learning with your amazing videos :)
This videos help us a lot thanks.

Hello Dan, do you have any more specific weld pro roboguide manuals that you could give me?
No and Even if I did that would be a copyright issue
Dan Staifer so make more video of welding functions if possible i would like to see it already thanks
@@henriquemathias4917 I don't do a lot of that so that probably won't happen. I teach more material handling
Dan Staifer ok
