Motion Control - Apocalypto (2006) - Crowd Duplication Shot

In this shot we have a man on top of a pyramid who has just sacrificed a human subject. As he pulls the heart out of the man and holds it up for people below to see, we boom up over the man to see the city's subjects below.
In order to create an environment full of people, plate shots of the crowd were taken to achieve the maximum population of the environment.
