Oh my god! I had a head massage from Baba about 7 years ago when I visited India. One of the most surreal experiences in the world. Now I find him by accident here! He's a wonderful character and I'm happy to see he's still around doing his thing!
What amazes me about Baba (may he R.I.P.) pertaining to his shaves was the fact he was quick and slick yet safe despite the speed. I have seen some terrible hack jobs with others going as fast as Baba did. However, Baba has always done a fine job. ASMR Barber, The Nomad Barber, and you, all your shaves from Baba are top tier.
So happy that you and many others got to share this magical man with the world. Props to Nupse for the introduction. RIP Baba. Your magical energy will live on.

Came across your channel while randomly browsing stuff. Its amazing watching your videos and seeing how barbers in the US work compared to others in Japan, India etc. It seems more like the American barbers, its just a job that they try to do well enough. But for everyone else in other parts of the world in your videos, they present themselves as true masters of a craft. They seem much more intense and way higher focused on every aspect of taking care of you, including not nicking you even the slightest bit with the blade.
