Blackout curtains didn't work for me so I was grateful for videos like these to help me get some rest for the next shift. I have day shift job now, but I still appreciate you for the content you upload, Harry.
I was there two days ago, but his barbershop was closed! I was shocked because I came from Germany and I waited this haircut so long time! One man at a neighboring shop said that he now works at another barbershop 50-100m away from the old barbershop. I found him at new barbershop and I get my haircut which I waited so long time. I think that I was the happiest man in the world that moment.😊 I said to him that I watch him on youtube at Haircut Harry Video, he smiled and said, thank you, thank you..😊😊❤

Turkish barbers apply a very very hot lather. If you look at 00:50 you will see that he is getting boiled water from the kettle. Also at 02:17, he is softening up the hair by massaging the lather in even more. After all this, you wont need a hot towel :) Hot towels feel very good but it isnt traditional in Turkey :) highly recommend though :)
What I love about all the shaves Harry gets, is that they're all masters of the art and I don't mean that in the sarcastic sense, I mean that in a great sense, EVERY barber he has gone to has always gone above and beyond to give Harry that top notch wet shave whether it'd be a turkish shave here in Istanbul or the detox that he got done in his other video or the haircut and shave and massage in Japan's Kitadoko barbers.

The very first shave I ever had by a professional was similar to this one. His attention to detail was pretty incredible. I really enjoyed it and try to get a professional shave once or twice a year now...

I enjoyed the original in lockdown. This is a brilliant revisit and I had to go watch the original again. It reminds me of a family holiday as a kid. We would go same place each year. See the same people. I even remember a shop we used to visit every year to get stuff like food etc. Something special about the little things staying near enough the same. Anyway great video. It is so interesting to watch the different techniques around the world. They have examples of bronze straight razors going back to classical Greek Times. Bronze can take a razor edge but they have to be frequently sharpened.

The original post was one of the 1st clips that made realise l was into ASMR. I still remember that older gentleman with that huge moustache standing in the background with his worry beads 😄 l also remember the barber had his pinky finger painted black.
Turkish barbers are great. You can get a haircut and shave but they offer other services. These barbers also cut nose and ear hairs, do head and shoulder massages, and beard trims. And apparently from this video also chiropractic adjustments.
I'm guessing this reupload is for the chair that kept phasing in and out of existence :D (i'm also glad all of those "if you remember the original video" comments are gone lol, I saw that video but the great thing about youtube is that others who haven't can like me just go back and watch it at any time!)

i am from adana..barbers here practises with a baloon..barbers shaves a baloon when they are young..so its very difficult :)

No hot towels, no major foaming of the face - and still a cut-free shave proves you don't need all that fancy stuff to get a great shave.
