Nice video Jonathan! If I remember correctly, Buddy's sticks carry a little more weight and thickness closer down to the tip of the stick. I think for some players that might be a nice advantage. Over the years I did use ProMark and agree with you. They were not bad sticks at all, but just felt different....as you said...comes down to a personal choice. It is always nice to hear your thoughts on these subjects! Would very much like to hear your thoughts on cymbals. 😊

@@pjdrums6870 Hard to say without seeing your hands. However, try this if you haven't already. It's counter intuitive but it works. What you'll do is grip the sticks as hard as you can. White knuckle it! You won't be able to play as fast. Keep going while gripping as hard as you can to find your tempo threshold. Then do a few reps. Like 30sec. You will really feel the burn. Pay attention so that you're not overdoing it and risking hurting yourself. Do a few reps, shake it off, take a break for a minute and then go back to playing as you usually would. Send me a message on facebook if you want... And I'll reply with a demo but I might just create that video anyway and throw it up on the channel for you and others to check out. Let me know how it goes and if you get a noticeable result... Thanks for the question. I hope that's useful. Cheers!!
