    Great stuff i like the vocal, haunting. Gerard Depardeu no idea he cud play keyboards. Gambale terrific. Cobham in the groove. Great ... At around 4:50 see how much Cobbo is enjoying this. The singer so has the rhythm of this groove in her she plays Billy's cymbals with her hands exactly. Bass, ace really pops. The whole thing is totally groovin'. They need to re-do it 4K or 1008p!!!

    The bass has a unique tone that cuts through everything beautifully. Her touch is great and I still cant believe a girl can play bass like that. I dont agree with what you said. I think that bass sounds amazing.

      WTF are you doing here?!

    • @funklover24
      @funklover24 4 года назад +1

      @@Eklektik40 No doubt, Tal is great, also together with Herbie Hancock, but these comparisons are a bit stupid. In fact Rossana Nicolosi is brillant here and of course Billy Cobham knows exactly whom he's playing with. :)

    No discrimination.. jeezzzz I was just defending her sweet tone, and also I never saw a girl play bass like that ever. Thats not discrimination.. what are you gay? :)
    Just kidding :)

    Why can't you believe that a woman can play bass "like that?" There are a lot of newly emerging female musicians on the par with their male counterparts who are not as visible. More will be on stages soon...

    A man would have to be a prick (not to mention completely ignorant) not to like that bass. She's stoked! Look at some of the other people she's played with. The list is long, and distinguished!

    Too repetitive. Sorry but this is boring. Gambale did a lame solo on this one.

      7 years later you should look again and turn the sound up

    • @funklover24
      @funklover24 4 года назад +2

      Of course some elements are repetitive, but that's just what I love about this song because it's leading into a kind of trance. But still this performance is full of life and brillant details and may be it depends on the mood of the audience. If I had the chance catching this live I would not hesitate. ;)
