I think despite LPL not winning worlds, last year was the best LPL had ever been. they won MSI, had 3 semi finalists out of 4, but more importantly LPL finally had all 4 teams in playoffs. They had always had that one odd team who completely shat the bed (LGD 2015, FPX 2021, TES 2022 etc) but last year was the first time they broke that curse.

This is such a weird excuse lol. Western teams have been importing lots of Korean players and they're not sniffing a finals.

I think another Western team will rise up again. But 2019 G2s don't come around often so we might have to wait a while.

If you look at them as a region sure, but I prefer looking at them as individual teams with players who all have a story.

They won 3 Worlds as opposed to 0 from NA or EU. I'm not sure you understand what you're talking about lol. The West gets demolished. China alternates wins with Korea at Worlds and demolishes the rest of the competition at MSI.

@@tysonlowhand6340 you can keep coping about LCK winning before LPL even had a proper league a decade ago. Realistic people look at the modern performance of the regions and not what happened in 2014.
