One of the most real, brutally honest and serving videos yet. Thank you for sharing, trusting, being vulnerable with complete strangers. This has really hit home for me in many ways and can TOTALLY relate. You're a rockstar!
This is a timely message The secret of hiding a failed partnership due to duplicitous behavior is a bitter pill to swallow; the side effects are deleterious to health, psyche, relationships, w potentially devastating impact The adage of your “net worth is your network” is an ideal in business, but the truth is there are very few folks who resonate sincerity to a shared wealth vs a self serving wealth agenda Thanks for your transparency
I like the failed partnership story, coupled with the redemption story, or overcoming adversity (I had $0, I was homeless, rock bottom, etc) and now own a 7 figure company. I think it would be encouraging to hear.
Thank you for sharing. I agree, there aren't enough stories shared like this, and they are not easy to share because they are about failure. It is the reality. Getting as many details nailed down as early as possible is so important (in writing). I have had business partners 'turn' after multiple years - if it is not in writing, the bad actor will take advantage. Thanks again for sharing, I know it is not easy.
I bought a business from my father 5 years ago, which I thought was in good condition. 1 month in, my ck tract was pulled by the customer because my father hadn't paid former suppliers and it was in the contract that our suppliers had to be paid before we could work on their projects. I thought I had solved these issues, but my bad for going through with the deal (which was all my money). I spent 6 months trying to ressurect that business with new customers but I just couldn't get it done. Fast forward to today, I have a vompletly different business set up in another area of construction, and its doing great. I am thankful for the lesson I learned (always read the contract and do full due diligence no matter who you're doing business with) and hopefully do not forget it. Great video, cheers amd have a great day.
He chose Omar because Omar has fund raising skills. That's clear from all the schmoozing he did with the investors. I think you misread Omar's sales skill as being dishonest but he stepped in to do what it takes to raise the cash. I don't know if this perspective makes sense, but great story nonetheless.
Jason was a snake and behavior are not easily changed. He was only sorry because the deal didn't go through, he knew what you brought to the table. His greed took over, I'm new here and I personally wouldn't dare watch him lie to me for 30 min in a interview. Great story though
Started listening to this podcast everyday about a week ago after finding you on IG - super dope - I’m a music marketing entrepreneur can relate heavily to a lot of this

Thanks for sharing that story. Sounds brutal. I've found that as long as we don't let it destroy us, we end up better for it...eventually.
Great message on forgiveness.
Now I'd like know the part how get the funding. I'm starting in mobile home park. Got first small one.
