Absolutely the best performance of this song by Zoey (and I have listened to a few from Different artists) - tops any I have heard - the australian cast were simply awesome
It's a pretty good attempt for a non-American, particularly when you bear in mind how badly American performers generally butcher Australian accents. It will certainly work with an audience not particularly versed in the differences between southern U.S. accents.
@@nicoletrudell2065 I haven’t really seen Americans get cast to play Australians though more vice versa. Southern people sometimes get offended when the imitation of the accent is the stereotypical version. People from Texas are very particular in correcting people when they try to do a Texan accent and it comes off as Deep South Alabama. It’s like mixing up an Irish and Scottish accent.
I love the Australian cast more than words can say. 😭❤️
I saw her perform this three times while in Adelaide last month. Absolutely incredible each and every time!!

Great performance! Wonderful lead singer and flutist
Just saw this tonight- absolutely blown away!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cried at Me and the Sky 😭
I just bought tickets to see the show in the Gold Coast and I’m so excited!
I feel so lucky that I have watched it in Melbourne.
Being that I worked Both incarnations of the Toronto version, I am Very picky. I have to say this was amazingly done!!😊
Awesome!
I saw this on Broadway with the original cast in New York City
What's her name? I don't see it in the credits. I think she's quite good - at least nearly as good as Jenn Colella.
I think she shows more emotion. And feeling than Jean. This touched my heart...
Don't discredit Jenn*. She sang me and the sky with an amazing amount of emotion. Your comment is obnoxious.
See I feel completely the opposite. This felt very emotionally vacate for me.
Are we watching the same videos? 🤔
Who is she?
zoe gertz
Maybe too southern for a Texan accent. It’s just slight twang not that dippy.

@@nicoletrudell2065 When has an American done an Australian accent on broadway? Be serious 😂
I am not a Texan but I live in Georgia and there are so many different Southern accents. I think she did a great job with this song.
@@jeni688 maybe only speak on GA. Texan is diff bless your heart.
