This was after Manning had his neck torn in two, they lost half their offensive line, Harrison and Stokley and Rhodes were no longer active or on the team, their #2 HB had stone hands, and their defense couldn't get off the field to save their lives.
This was really good Indy team, just not quite as good as the New England juggernaut that year, especially with all the injuries. One wonders if Manning would have as many rings as Brady if the Patriots weren't around.

I was at this game my only game ever at the coliseum and at a Raiders game what an experience it was a great memory even though we lost.
