McDago100 He's heavily appreciated out in New York. He's done nothing but help the Mets organization in tremendous ways. I'm very happy to have him in a Mets uniform but I know A's fans are hurting without him. Good luck to you guys.
Phillip Phillips Are you watching the Playoffs? Coco Crisp hit a home run for Cleveland the other day. Josh Donaldson is doing well for the Blue Jays. Joe Blanton came through for the Dodgers. Zobrist did well for the Cubs. All these guys are ex-Athletics.The Mets are officially and in reality a Major League Baseball team. The Oakland Athletics are "Finishing School " future all stars. I forgot to mention Bartolo Colon. Well, I am glad Colon and Cespedes play for the Mets and not the Yankees. I really wish you guys would have beat the Giants.
I knew about him before the Mets traded for him, but I came here to watch the highlights after I heard we had traded for him. I have to say, he might have the best arm I've ever seen in the outfield. Rocket arm with pinpoint accuracy. Oh man am I happy we got him.
ok people - watch from 1:10 to understand the power this man possesses. When you see the other angles, you can under estimate the way in which the ball leaps out of his hand. When the camera perspective pans to the side and captures the action from field view...WHOA. Look out. That thing is an absolute rocket.
Because he was a left fielder. (He's on the Red Sox now). Plenty of guys like to run on left fielders because most of them have the worst arm of the outfielders. So he should be right fielder.
Sliding seems to have slid in quality. One that second one the foot was nowhere near the plate. But the foot is six feet ahead of the hand so why is the runner using his hand?
AquaX107 believe me when I tell you that pitchers are scared of Cespedes and the opposing team usually always watch him take B.P. ..he is simply amasing and was always a favorite with the Oak. Fans.. The man aint no joke...comming from a Oak fan that has seen him play ALOT...You guys hot a winner in Yoenis....
Maybe the A's put him at left field because that a lot of guys run on left fielders because they mostly have the weakest arm of the outfield but he had the best arm lol (he's on the Red Sox now).
When Cespi was traded, I was shocked, then I had a minute to think about it. His bat had plain gone to sleep, and he wasn't producing in 2014. If his trade messed up the heads of so many other players, then that's not playing pro ball. Seems all the bats went to sleep after that, and possibly it was on purpose. No team does such a 180 overnight. Beane then cleaned house, as he should have.
Yohenis Céspedez Millanés , de Israel Licea poblado entre Manzanillo y Campechuela,lo mejor de lo mejor al igula que su Madre la gran Estela Milanés en Sofboll.
I tried to make throws like that when I was playing intramural softball. I usually fucked up my release and threw it to the adjoining field's first baseman. I started throwing to my cutoff man instead. :-/
That's because if you've ever played baseball you would know almost everyone runs out there. You can't just turn 90 degrees and keep a full sprint. Same thing with people running into the outfield when they get an infield single, it's impossible to go from full sprint to a halt like that.
I simply can't believe the throw at 5:01
The Angel's third base coach just doesn't learn does he
I'm an Angels fan and I agree
EvonyBeast Worst than MArc Trestman offense...
+EvonyBeast Former 3rd base coach, heh.
+Gab Cot - worse
definitely doesn't watch film lol
Yoenis Cespedes is a beast. He's had a few since then too
I would say more of a sniper.
This guy could throw a judge out of the courtroom. What a highlight rreel.
Uuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuuuuuujujuuuujujuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuji unuos u u uuu
He made the best throw I’ve ever seen literally
just listening to A's baseball ahhh I can't wait
I hope you Mets fans appreciate him. The downfall of my Oakland Athletics started with Cespedes being traded.

McDago100 Yea man wish they beat the Giants too but Bumgarner had it out for the Mets. Hopefully they can stay healthy next season.
McDago100 I didn't know that some of those players were from the A's. They would've been the team to beat for sure if they were still at Oakland.
Traded a week before cespedes t short give away day lol. I couldn’t believe it.
Needless to say I don't think the Angels will be testing his arm again anytime in the near future.
Can't wait to see him play the monstah in Fenway this year and at least next year. 24 OF Assists between him and Bradley Jr for the Sox OF
It's not just the strength of his throws. It's their amazing accuracy.
they should make a law that says "DO NOT RUN ON CESPEDES"
I wish they'd have a couple cameras just focused on the fielder throughout the entire throw
I knew about him before the Mets traded for him, but I came here to watch the highlights after I heard we had traded for him. I have to say, he might have the best arm I've ever seen in the outfield. Rocket arm with pinpoint accuracy. Oh man am I happy we got him.
U still happy we got him?
@@jamesbott7914big reason why the Mets were relevant at the time, so yeah I am
DANG! That boy got flame!
See you July 15th in Minnesota, Yoenis.
He was my favorite player in Oakland. Wish him the best in NY
Dude! He's retired.
Wait is it me or is all of his great highlights against the Angels. lol!
I'm praying to the heavens above that my New York Mets sign this amazing player
I was at the game that he threw 2 guys out. Fun fact, Cespedes was only a single away from the cycle. Easily the best game of his career

Oakland thanks you for all you've done. Sure going to miss you! Kill em out in Boston!
pinswade what?? They learned after FIFTH attempt??
Can't wait to see this in Boston
Best arm EVER! Clemente, Dave Parker and Bo will have to take back seats on this one.
puig #1
One of the best centre fielders ever
M E T S!!
I'm gonna sleep good 2 nite!
CESPEDES! the dude is amazing!
Welcome to the Sox, Yoenis. Can't wait to see him play
Sarnoso
I watching Yoenis play 😞 he made it exciting. I hope he is doing well in life though... whatever he is up to.
Welcome to the Red Sox, Mister Cespedes.
Nice game winner three run homer the other night.
He's been doing his thing.

Alexei Fortun Very true.
Alexei Fortun That is 100% true ( SI)
INSANE ARM! Norris was blocking the plate on a few of those tho
Well, I'm happy that Cespedes is on my favorite team, the future World Series winners, the New York Mets.
Thumbs up if he looks the best in an A’s uniform.
I'm really going to miss Lester. Cespedes is a beast though.
5:09 that is one of Cespedes' greatest throws
Céspedes shines with A's more than with others team
In ESPN them was talking that Cespedes is trowing the ball at a speed of 102 / 104 mph, and right in place.
He should pitch lol!
WHY DO THEY TRY TO TEST THIS MAN'S ARM? So stupid....
that's my line of thought too, :) what's the use? you know what the guy is capable of, just effing freeze !!!
Because he was a left fielder. (He's on the Red Sox now). Plenty of guys like to run on left fielders because most of them have the worst arm of the outfielders. So he should be right fielder.
I think he should stay as a left fielder because runners can underestimate his arm then BOOM! They are out!
bro this video is lit
5:53 lol the dancing kids reaction
Sliding seems to have slid in quality. One that second one the foot was nowhere near the plate. But the foot is six feet ahead of the hand so why is the runner using his hand?
I wish he was still in Oakland smdh
Unbelievable the A's traded him. I still haven't forgiven Billy Beane for that.
+greenday103921guns The Mets say thank you very much.
+jethrodassam boston said thank you very much, detroit said thank you very much, and then the mets said thank you very much.
it was price
That is fun to watch.
the worst trade in Oakland A's History, the day Cespy left was the A's franchise died Thank you Billy Bean
Just call me Throwenis Cespedes!
Best arm in baseball
I miss this A's team :(
Derek Norris has gotta be having the time of his life
He throws strike lighting streaks throws!
"...and Scioscia is coming out to argue." *record scratch* "Scioscia is coming out to argue." *record scratch* "Scioscia out to argue."
I still can't believe the A's broke up this team.
Angels just don't learn do they?
This guy needs to litlle time to prep for such a big throw amazing
The angles must hate Cespedes.
Welcome to the Tigers.
***** eh at least we got somebody to replace Torii Hunter
AquaX107 believe me when I tell you that pitchers are scared of Cespedes and the opposing team usually always watch him take B.P. ..he is simply amasing and was always a favorite with the Oak. Fans.. The man aint no joke...comming from a Oak fan that has seen him play ALOT...You guys hot a winner in Yoenis....
***** I'm sure he will be be better than hunter
ThePistons4life Tori Hunter was also a very good player , but not on the sane calibur as Yoenis. Yoenis is amazing and has a MAJOR canon as a arm.
Johnny Medeiros I'm glad we have him this year
Is that an arm or a canon?
Quien tendrá mejor brazo para tiros a las bases , Cespedes o Puig?
Pillar was not clapping his hands he was signaling to have him either hook slide or slide more right
Billy Beane watches these videos everyday.
Yo knows!
Great arm
Tremenda bazuka !
Cespedes, way better than Puig...
Are you mad? Puig have 5 tools, no body in MLB have it
Salvador Anaya Trout
Trout hasn't arm
Salvador Anaya not a strong arm like cespedes but he has a strong arm. And can Cespedes steal 40 bases? Hit more HRs? NO!
Cespedes not, but Puig Yes, Puig is the only MLB player with 5 tool, Trout have 4
WELCOME TO THE METS
We needed some Hispanic fuego 🔥
Yup.
+kvergara929 guees what hes coming back to tigers in the off season lol yay
Keep dreaming Branden Nichols..lol
he is you will see
+Brendan Nichols tigers suck
Maybe the A's put him at left field because that a lot of guys run on left fielders because they mostly have the weakest arm of the outfield but he had the best arm lol (he's on the Red Sox now).
0:33 Cespedes throws out his future teammate
Monster
Surprising umpires
What is this a Derrick Norris video
Jim Johnson pitching in the 5th inning of a 1 run game, I have to know what the reason is and why that was ever allowed..
Why are the umpires all over the place?
he'll never play in left field for the Angels
Puig and Trout might both be better overall, but Cespedes has the best arm by far.
+Amanda Petersen he is beeter then puig belive me or nit and im a dodgers fan but trout no duh
La Potencia! LGM

I love Cespedes
sometimes I wonder if he purposely baits people by letting it get away lmao
Yohenis Céspedez Millanés , de Israel Licea poblado entre Manzanillo y Campechuela,lo mejor de lo mejor al igula que su Madre la gran Estela Milanés en Sofboll.
he used to loose the ball on porpouse always
its amazing how many people think they can run on cespedes
Jason Carlo fr
lol, the angels just don't seem to learn... cespedes booting the ball is a decoy.
I tried to make throws like that when I was playing intramural softball. I usually fucked up my release and threw it to the adjoining field's first baseman. I started throwing to my cutoff man instead. :-/
the guys have
U think that the angels would learn
Trading him was the worst decision in team history
Vamos cubanos...
most of these are the same thing, Cespedes throws out somebody on the Angels when they run like 5 feet out of the baseline
like at 2:15
That's because if you've ever played baseball you would know almost everyone runs out there. You can't just turn 90 degrees and keep a full sprint. Same thing with people running into the outfield when they get an infield single, it's impossible to go from full sprint to a halt like that.
toonhead904 only if t's billy hamilton
partykid9
Maybe, I had the honors of being the fastest player in my high school team and I would end up near the dugout while rounding third.
la potencia
Cause the arm
angels get no love
Met him at physical therapy today
Donaldson and cespedes now would be filthy
Could you give me tickets
he misses the ball on purpose to trick them in to thinking they can get more bases or a run in but nopeeee.
+sinep I was thinking that, too. Those balls he "missed" looked intentional. Mind fuck.
Mets 2016!
If i hit a stand up double to Cespedes im staying on first
A lot of those were safe...
back when the A's were good. Only if the ownership was good
Well jon lester is a good picture that's why but I don't get yoenis cepedes is not a pitcher
Yo creo que Yasiel Puig tiene más brazo que Cespedes ,es mi opinión por lo que e visto más fuerza física y más rápido en soltar la bola .
Cuban power 😏💪
