Wombat Friendly Waterstation

Here are some modifications to our waterstations to make them more friendly for Wombats and other larger nosed animals. It creates a larger opening by angling the 90 degree bends and then carefully cutting off the fitting that sits above the water level, When trimming the fitting make sure your saw is square to the pipe horizontally and vertically. Ensure all burs and any sharp edges are removed
Use the site www.naturemapr... to record your station's GPS position. (Log it under "Points of interest"
Please take ownership of your waterstation and check it regularly, keep it clean. Once the crisis is over all waterstations need to be removed from the environment. Use a permanent marker pen to record details of your station, Name, Organisation who it belongs to,phone number, date put out, dates checked.
