Powerful and Terrifying at the same time!
Ed, thank you!! You are someone who speaks the truth. I have a disability do to a brain tumor, which came unexpectedly when I turned 45. I was a radio announcer and loved my job. I didn't make much money and now I'm on a disability paycheck, it drives me crazy! Talk about counting the costs. It made me so depressed when a woman from the government came to where I'm now living, a fairly small town called Muscle Shoals, Alabama and gave me a test, a few weeks later she sent a letter that said there is nothing I was qualified to do, you'll be a disability for the rest of my life. I cried for next 8 years. I'm now trying to make a way to helping my family. I just don't know what I can do and but I've got to do something. I too am a Christian and I appreciate you honesty. ❤ #maxout

Hi Ed, my name is Charles, I live in the west of Ireland. I'm 32 and I have to say I have taking massive steps towards improving my life and my beautiful families lives. I returned to college as a mature student because nothing seemed to be working out for me, I'm broke, sometimes depressed about my life and how its worked out so far. I been rejected and refused job opportunities because of my ethnic background, I'm white but I'm far from privileged. I live in a country that's so biased its unreal and crazy. The long story short I have a deep faith and I practice it everyday, I'm a practicing Catholic. I love helping people because it makes me feel good, also because I never experienced that, so I want to pay it forward for others. I truly believe God is using me to help uplift and motivate people, and that's why he opened the doors for me to study marketing and sales, because I connect and network with people extremely well, this is only possible through the grace of God. This message is to all the readers, be humble, show compassion and empathy for others because everyone has a story and you won't know it until you make yourself available to hear it. Getting out of my heads complexity is a battle I am dealing with now, my family is on the line, my dreams are on the other side of this painful nightmare! As always inspiring to dig deeper ....go harder...I have been too cool and need to charge into the fray!

I am in a weird position in my life to be honest with you Ed. We actually met when I was with WFG, during one of the events; I had worked and pushed my way to a goal from leaders like you, Dana and Chris.
I was on my way with goals of reaching levels like SMD, but I experienced one of those negative results and also let my Epilepsy bring me to rock bottom; instead of being able to gift my parents I am grateful to God for their love and support.

My challenge these days is I just feel lost and disconnected .. Like I am walking around in a foggy daze.. I know I would love to work for myself, but not sure doing what?? Lately I have barely any drive for anything.. Pushing through mental illnesses is a a whole other ball game..

Felt like you were talking to me! I always have this thought that I am sacrificing time with my children to build the insurance business I want. Which leads to a lack of execution and lack of funds for our home and church. Where do I find that line to walk between building the agency I want and being there for them?
