Until Kenyan MPs start paying for their cars and Fuel, they will never see the sufferings they put their voters through😭😭😭😭😭🤣🇬🇧
But really what happened to the cars of the last gava? They wud have refurbed them and used them.
They just don't care. Just a bunch of suit wearing fools and idiots
Thank you so very Much Chris and Abraham for breaking this down to us like 2 year old kids,I now understand this very clear.
Kazi mzuri sana to the panel explaining izi issues. Good to see you ARMS doing the explaining.
Its good that we are now focusing on the economy as a country
My question is: Why on earth is it called a budget? ...a budget is made to ensure one spends wisely and the books balance.
Our 'Kenyan ' budget' isn't a budget, it's a plan how to collect money and spend more than you have collected and also spend on the wrong things.😂
.....at the end of the day it is our politics that is bad.....and accountability features therein as one of the critical elements....!!!!....A most illuminating discuss!!!!
Wah I enjoyed listening great analysis.
Thank you Thank you Spice FM, I am new here but I feel I am late, I should have known this channel earlier
Turnover tax was a trap since inception. Expect it to change in future. It is a punitive one
That finance bill is very punitive. IMF and world bank have arm twist our govt into taxing Kenyans into poverty
Those corrupt thieves in suits holding political positions should form a chama and contribute their ill gotten gains and pay Kenya's debt once and for all!!!
This tax thing will kill us...
Reduce expenditure or else spend what you can make. Kenyans pressure regimes to perform and in that pace to please everyone we end up digging deeper holes.
Parliament never look at Budgets with a tooth comb. They don't have time for such tasks. They only have time for Marupurupu😭😭😭😭😭🇬🇧
Abraham Rugo..my neighbour..kijana ya Kiamunyi, Nakuru (back in the 90s)...how are you?
E-tims is not free . You must have a gadget to install the software so if you don't have one, you will have to purchase one
Really today’s discussion is a challenge to the Ruto administration. Kenya Kwanza has no plan nor will to face corruption head on. Increase in tax revenue will just enrich those in power. Corruption is both in county and national governments. Thus tackling corruption first before tax increases will immensely benefit the economy because it will avail necessary investment funds and also provide more purchasing power. Kenya Kwanza economics is surely counter productive
Kenyans voted for this government wacha walipe.
Parliament may pass the budgets but it is the civil service that handles the money and implements the projects. This is where the rubber mèets the road. The amount of wastage in Kenya points to a very corrupt civil service in need of reform. We mostly blame politicians because we can see their faces but its these faceless unelected civil service individuals that are really making our lives difficult.
There is 34 million kenya unemployment. 600 000 business closed. 200 trillion shillings in debt. 30 trillion shillings in intrest in dollars denomination. Massive poverty and inequality and rampant corruption. Revolution lazima happen to renew kenya spiritually. Thats the only solution ya kenya
True. The only business making money is Mackenzie and Co.
There is need we restructure governance I this thing called country
bought one @55k, you mean imekunywa maji hivyo?
What do you expect under a looter.
They she increase the tax to 65% so that Kenyans can wake up from their slumber
And you are peddling fear
I think they are just being realistic 😢
If facts make you fearful then that is on you. The panelists have an obligation to tell it like it is.
But have you noticed no one included ourselves has actually offered a solution or a road map leading to something tangible.
@@kennethkahoro-p1h Did you read UDA manifesto with their bogus economic recovery plan? If they can’t follow their own manifesto and promises why would you expect they will entertain anyone else’s roadmaps and plans? They conned hustlers with fake promises in wheelbarrows. They have a new dynasty to build and no time for roadmaps that don’t bring in the coins. You are in fantasy island if you believe otherwise.
@@kennethkahoro-p1h We have asked the government fat cats to reduce expenditure and wastage. This way, 800 billion will be earned and available for reasonable uses.
This debate is one sided
Makindi aa
How so?
The guest here is being dishonest. He’s failed to mention that our foreign debt has become more expensive because of the strong dollar, driving up our spending significantly
How is that dishonesty. Was he asked?
