Mt. Kenya, we only have tugeges in positions of leadership by design. Ruto wanted idiots from our region who cannot understand the bigger picture to oppose his sins. He ensured only cowards were elected under his party. At the same time, WE residents of the mountain should bear the blame for agreeing to be hoodwinked into electing idiots to represent us. Next time, when these idiots come to us and say that education does not matter in leadership, we should know better. We need the best, courageous ones who stand with the people only.

Listening to Honourable Mbadi, means that many of the MPs don't understand what is exactly contained in this Finance Bill. Those thinking only of what candies they have been promised, have NO CLUE WHY THEY ARE IN PARLIAMENT. And if they don't know their Rights as elected representatives, WHAT business do they have being in the August House 🤔.
If they CANNOT STAND up for their own Rights, How can we expect them to fight for their employer: The TAXPAYERS???

The Bill on the debt limited, we had our contribution as diaspora, that the limit of 55%of Gdp should be clear, what kind of Gdp definition real gdp or nominal gdp?
It is also very important to explain how they come up with the 55% and not 56% or any other figure.

I have always wondered about it too.
It was diluted by Parliament when they were drafting and passing Acts of Parliament to operationalize the relevant constitutional clause. Exactly what MPs did with Chapter 6 of the constitution. They didn't change the constitution but watered it down through statutes

He makes good points but he forgets that too many people do not pay tax, overburdening people in the formal sector. It’s time to widen the tax base. Some rates can be adjusted but the policy makes sense writ large. Killing the bill or staging a coup is not the solution either

Tax compliance is not a task for the Legislature. Its enforcement falls under the Executive. Mbadi is not a member of the Executive. He is a member of the Legislature.

All other leaders except for the Presidential candidate ran on their individual parties. Only the Presidential candidate ran on Azimio ticket. Of the Azimio affiliated parties only Jubilee is going through a rough patch. All the others are intact.

How did ODM deal with the chaos in Ford Kenya? How did ODM deal with ANC just before elections in 2022? How was Azimio formed?
