Malaysian Street Food - Malaysian Food - Kuala Lumpur Street Food
Malaysian Street Food in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is the best! A multicultural display of extremely delicious specialty food is available for eating. Within Malaysian street food, there is Malay Street food, Chinese Street Food, and Indian street food all available to try and the options are endless. Kuala Lumpur street food is some of the best in the world. Street food around the world is different everywhere, but what is so special about Malaysia is how multicultural everything is and how unique the cooking and food culture is. So for my 3rd trip to Malaysia, we came for a Kuala Lumpur food tour. Chuchu and I decided to travel to Malaysia on a 4 day eating vacation to eat as much street food and local specialties as we could.
►The BEST VPNs For China: thefoodranger.com/best-vpn-fo...
One thing that we both fell in love with about Malaysian cuisine, is that you could really spend a lifetime eating here tasting the local varieties of Chinese food, Indian Food, and Malay Food. With our limited amount of time on this trip, we ate non stop to sample all of the Kuala Lumpur food available. That being said, in 4 days, we barely scratched the surface of Malaysian food, there is so much more!
We visited a few famous Chinese cuisine places, a few famous Malay cuisine places, and of course some amazing Indian cuisine as well.
Below are the addresses for the Malaysian cuisine that we sampled in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia:
    1) Chinese Indian Food (Fish Head Curry) - PUDU CHINESE INDIAN RICE @ RESTORAN SIN HIAP KEE
    2) Nasi Campur and Ikan Bakar @ Gerai Pak Lang Ikan Bakar - Kampung Baru
    3) Malaysian dessert street Cendol
    4) Malaysian Nasi Lemak at Village Park
    5) Banana Leaf Rice at Sri Paandi in Little India (Brickfields)
    6) Nasi Dagang only open on the weekends at Nasi Dagang Warung Terengganu
    6) Ooi Noodle House famous Pork Noodle
7), Jalan SS 15/4b, Ss 15, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia
8)Restoran Home Cooking @ Sungai Way, PJ - near the Indian temple at Sungai Way
    9) Durian at SS2 Durian Wai’s Durian
    10) Dry Bak Kut Teh AKA Rougucha @ Yap Chuan Bak Kut Teh, Puchong
    11) Roti Canai at Nasi Kandar Pelita

HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!

I love Nasi Lamak, I used to have a home cooked vendor as the Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. His wife made them every day, and he sold them to those of us in the know! And, theirs had twice that amount of anchovy and peanut. Though no diss intended for that excellent dish. I'm recalling a memory from around 1987-1988. Good meal at University!!

I don't understand why Malaysians/Indonesians have to fight or throw fire about food.
Our food has tons of influences from Arabian countries, Egyptian, Indian and Portuguese. We had our spices from traders and we start to develop flavors from that.
Food is food and I don't give a damn where it came from. If you mix goddamned politic into culinary, I would not talk to you. Stop being so narrow and just enjoy the taste.

That nasi lemak with fried chicken is RM14 WOAHH EXPENSIVE.
Although the basic nasi lemak only contain: rice, sambal, hard boiled egg/sunny side up egg, cucumber slices, anchovies and peanuts :D
Other than that, you can add more like fried chicken, cockles and more! Nasi lemak is like Malaysian's ramen. You can add a lot of toppings.
I'm so happy that you enjoy our food in Malaysia. I wish you have a good trip here! Also visit other regions of Malaysia like Penang, Sabah and Sarawak. They have a lot of food to offer!!

    • @Stephenwwkay

At its most essential, nasi lemak is the coconut rice, sambal, anchovies and nuts. And, I guess, cucumbers. Ain't nothing wrong with the modernized version. The fried chicken at the place they went to is pretty bomb and in a 100 years, what's new today will be considered traditional, so eat whatever makes you happy.
