TY, ballistol has served generations of shooters (including mine) and it plays well with leather and wood. Love the 22 frontier and its long barreled one, both still get play even though know I got a DD AR I remember my older cousin came back from the army with knowledge of CLP, and pops getting fussed when cans of it started showing up. Then my older brother went off in the same army and came back with this otis cable with screw in at the end for eye hole jag or brushes used in rods . . . thought it was a game changer until mom said the chamber wouldn't pass dad inspection but the barrel was clean.
Nice well organized video, the long barreled Frontier is the one I'm looking at. I wish that the receiver is steel .... Anyway this rifle is much easier to get back together than my Browning BL 22. Thanks.
How long is the inner tube magazine ??? without the pusher of course. I' m searching this part if someone ca help me. I live in France and this part is not found.
Thanks for the video. In the mid 1970s I had an Ithaca Model 72 lever action .22 rifle that was made the same way. I enjoyed your presentation until I realized you had an image of the US Flag to clean your rifle on. No offense intended, but that really distracted me to the point that I would like it mention to you. An awful lot of people who have a higher regard for the colors might feel hurt by that as I am. I'm an elderly combat veteran. What do you think of the plastic magazine follower? I wonder if these will last for generations, like the old Winchesters did. I just got the same Henry rifle, so thanks for the video.
You've got a point about the flag. How did that not occur to me before? Sorry for the offense, definitely not intended. I love the flag and our great country. Thank you for your service! As far as the plastic follower? Not sure but it does seem very well built. I do hope my daughter can pass it along down the line.
@@Carolinaishome Thank you for your courtesy and understanding. As to the follower, I handled a Henry survival rifle, the one that mimics the old Armalite. It had been leaning against the back board on the gun rack in a local shop. It had a bright colored plastic front sight which had bent sideways from supporting the weight of the barrel while the rifle was standing upright on the but plate in the gun rack. It stayed bent. The follower is probably nylon. I'm getting a Henry in a trade tomorrow and I was dying to know if it was like my old Ithaca. Your video made my day, since it's like I'm getting my old rifle back ! Thank you for respecting the colors. That's my Guide On. Long Live the Republic
It is my understanding that both are made from a zinc based alloy called Zamak 5. The barrel band is as well. I actually stripped my barrel band and receiver cover. It has a nice matte silvery look to it now. I need to post a video. As far as longevity of the gun, I really haven't heard of any issues. They are great shooters even if they aren't real steel. Hope I answered your question.

Thank you for this!
My son was struggling a bit with the reassembly of his, & this was a Godsend. Nice, & straight forward.
@@grumblyone3334 You're very welcome. Glad I could help.
Have been looking to acquire one of these and was curious about it's ease of cleaning. Thank you for posting this disassembly tutorial.
Picking this exact one uo Monday morning, thanks for a most timely video!
This video helped me a lot. Especially lining up the cover for reassembly. Thank you!
I bought the Henry silver boy youth model in 22lr....it's awesome Quality.
Very informative 👍. Didn't realize how dirty mine was till I took it all the way apart after 2 years and a few thousand rounds 😂.
Great instructions and video. Thank you!
Thanks. Glad it was helpful
