Thank you for watching & for your comment! I was raised bilingual, started studying Hebrew again independently in college and I never stopped :)
@@ThelahBenDan great presentation!

Wonderful! Yes the key to really understanding Hebrew is knowing the roots, your vocabulary grows incredibly every time you master a new one. Thank you for watching!

Todah!!!!! We can't see the last conjugated verb; but I think I figured out the spelling (and followed the logic). Excited about classes in Jan! You're a blessing!
Aaaahhhhh I didn't realize RUclips cut that off! Todah for letting me know, next time I'll be sure to keep the words up higher.
Morah Sheli lcan so teachers thanks so much for helping me
I'm actually reading these comments to find out what is the last conjugation. May you write it here in ivreet and if possible with the niqud please?
Cool to see you teaching hebrew like this. I found difficult to understand the conjugation of the verbs.
תודה רבה את מורה טוב thank you so much for your helpful informative videos You have a gift for teaching and explaining things I’m so grade you are willing to share your knowledge with us on RUclips
Thank you!
wow you are amazing. I teach Hebrew myself but i feel i need to take some of your classes
Thank you!! I appreciate that.
How do i take a class from you.
Todah for asking! :) Visit my website at www.thekefar.com/hebrew.
This is so clear. You are so good at explaining! I did get a little confused at first when you were underlining the root letters in the verbs as it looked like a patach. Maybe using a different colour to indicate the root letters would be clearer so as not to look exactly like a patach.
Thank you so much Claire! Thank you also for the feedback, that's an excellent suggestion and when I get back into making videos I will definitely follow it.
So cool, never stop please. This is good good. I’m definitely subscribing :) :)
Thanks so much!
Won, in all my years of learning different languages, it is the first time I come across a person who can teach I such a helpful logical manner. I wish i could hire you to become fluent, can I? If so how please?
I'm opening an adult course soon - sign up at forms.gle/sqQ5hYuEutpthiu29
@@ThelahBenDan somehow I just saw your message. I hope it's not too late.
@@MarieRich not at all, I just replied lol I'm the late one not you!

Bravo I like the way of teaching. keep going
Thank you!

Not perfect by a long shot lol but thank you, and thanks for watching!
Gostei muito da aula! Parabéns!
Obrigado!
Thank you
My pleasure, thanks for watching!
Good teaching.
Thank you!
Wonderfully clear, thank you so much. My only suggestion is for you to lower the camera a tad so the last word you write is also visible. You're really good at breaking it down and encouraging, thank you so much for posting and I"ll be following.
Thanks for watching! Sorry about the words being cut off, with my newer videos this isn't an issue anymore. I would love to be able to replace some of these older ones with revised versions, but unfortunately RUclips doesn't allow that. But thank you for watching, commenting, and subscribing :)
Thank you dear !!
my pleasure!
Best I’ve come across
Thank you! Hope to continue getting better :)
*כל הכבוד לך!*
!תודה רבה
Do you think you'd be interested in making a video about how you learned Hebrew, for example were you born in Israel or one or both of your parents spoke Hebrew so you spoke from birth or if your parents made aliyah to Israel? Or are you just very talented when it comes to language learning? (I had years of study as a child but we learned prayers and as an adult if I want to learn more conversational modern Hebrew I have to start from scratch , although I still remember how to read somewhat.)
Anyway, I'm very interested and I think your other viewers would be too. Thank you again and thanks in advance if you can answer my questions . 😊💕
I was going to share the video I made with you but I see you watched it already :)
So clear!
Thanks, Carmella!
Excellent. Teacher speaks clearly- and knows her stuff!!. Legible (not-script) blackboard writing is vital for beginners. Scope of lesson is great: not overwhelming - not boring. Thank you.
BTW: What did you say (ending in “Ha’Shem”) at 11:25?
Thanks for watching + for your feedback! I said be'ezrat HaShem
Amazing you are
Thanks!
A really good Video! Tov meod!
Todah!
Muy buen video
gracias
I really like your handwriting, but I am just a beginner in the language and want to know if that's an acceptable hand-written script or if you're just using that style because it is easier for us to read. It appears like the printed form of the language rather than the handwritten style, but I prefer the printed look you've used. Any advice on when to use and when not to use either? Once again, your lessons are great. Toda.
Shalom and thank you again for watching! I write with the print (also called block letters), and this is how beginners are taught to read and write. By about 3rd grade I believe (in Israel) children are taught the script letters, and then moving forward writing is done in script, while most reading text (books, newspapers, textbooks, websites) use the print. So you can feel free to use the print until you've mastered it, and then learn the script and use that moving forward for writing. My videos are for beginners so that's why I write in print, that's what everyone learns (or is learning) first. Hope that helps!
+T'helah B. perfect.thanks!
Thank sister servant of The Most High. keep the lesson coming. Shalom
Some of the information your are writing can't be seen it too low on the paper.
appreciated

Todah for watching!
Do you have a complete course
Excellent explanation! Thank you!
You're welcome!
Shalom achoth, I'm new to the channel, do u get into ancient Hebrew as well?
Shalom & welcome! if you're referring to the paleo letters, no I don't
@@ThelahBenDan not the Paleo but the ancient pictographic letters
No, proto sinaitic (the pictographs) doesn't really interest me
I wonder why they
Would blank out the video on.my account?
Actually Hebrew technically sounds a lot easier than learning English!
I'm glad you think so!
Are you a teacher on italki? Do you do private tutoring ?
I teach privately, not on italki: thekefar.com/hebrew
Your board is to low. C'ant see the rest.
Do you teach Biblical Hebrew?
Shalom! Most Modern Hebrew is Biblical Hebrew, same vocabulary, verbs, etc. I do teach Hebrew specifically through the Tanach, and if there's enough interest B"H I will offer that class in Jan. For my upcoming classes please visit www.thekefar.com/hebrew. Todah for watching!
My anxiety through this video📈📈😅😂
Oh no! Why?
I think I now understand what talmud means
Great!
Click! Now I see how talmid (student) fits in too!
Love when it clicks!
do you have a facebook page?
facebook.com/groups/hebrewatthekefar
todah ...
my pleasure!
are you native to the Hebrew language?
Shalom! I learned Hebrew as a young child, so just about.
Thank you so much. You do well on teaching!
Thank you! I appreciate that.
It'd be cool to have a video explaining how to figure out the infinitive from the root or vice versa, and then how to conjugate the infinitive in the different tenses. I still find it to be the most confusing part of Hebrew to wrap my head around.
I hear you, but that's a LOT of information to try and squeeze into a video, or even multiple videos. Verbs in Hebrew fit into 7 different categories, and even within the categories there are multiple variations & irregular conjugations, so it's not something I could try to teach via RUclips. I do teach a Hebrew verbs course, but even then we focus on past and present; future is another course entirely.
Well, the fact that it is a lot of information should be something positive I would think, then you'll have stuff to talk about for several videos :)
The first verbs video will post on Tuesday at 2 pm EST :)
T'helah B. B
שלום עליכם, מה נשמע?
ברוך השם, הכל מצוין!
Is this paleo hebrew
It's not written using the paleo Hebrew (Phoenician) letters, no. The language is the same.
we can't see the last verb 👎👎👎
It is MLMDT melamedet.
you speak to fast
Thanks for stopping by! You can slow down the speed by clicking the Settings icon on the lower right corner of the video -> click Speed -> reduce to 0.75 or even slower to fit your needs.
very well explained --- you are a good teacher !!!
thank you so much!
