    I applied as well, but I am still waiting for the approval (hoping to get approved). It's good that you have given a walk through so to have an idea what to expect. 😊

      Most of my other sites are pending too! I think they will be opening up the pool of sites significantly over the next few months, so don't lose hope!

      Thanks! I’m just glad to have a new way to monetize sites…hopefully they expand this program substantially before the end of the year as I’d like to test a few niches as well in higher RPM Q3 and Q4!

      @@CaseyBotticello I also think this is going to force other ad companies to improve their services. The more options people have the more likely they are to change services!!

    Thank you so much for this! I look forward to your next update. I was recently at Travel Con in Portland and there were some murmurs about people not being able to control the types of ads displayed on page (excluding categories) as you can with Mediavine. Would love to know if this is the case. Also, although you may not wish to share your site that is running Journey, I'd love to see one. If you can share a link of another site so I can take a look at how the ads display, I would so appreciate it.

      This is indeed true-Journey does not currently allow you to control ad settings at all.
      As for an example, that’s a good idea and I’ll try to include one or two sites in my next video for this case study!

    Hi there! Great video! Have they mentioned the process for when a site that’s been accepted to journey starts growing and eventually meets the 50k threshold, will that site automatically be converted to the regular mediavine ad program? Or would you have to apply as if for the first time?

    • @CaseyBotticello
      @CaseyBotticello  2 месяца назад +1

      They posted something that basically said that they are in the process of finalizing this process but the idea is that they will notify you once you’re eligible. Based on my knowledge of MV, I’m sure they will stream the transition and you’ll probably get approved faster, but unlike Journey, MV requires more detailed analytics and advertiser reviews (currently). So my guess is it would just be a more streamlined version of the normal application process.

    Is there a way to disable to the Grow badge? I do not want to that on my site.

    • @CaseyBotticello
      @CaseyBotticello  Месяц назад

      @@ffi5733 It definitely could! They can mainly measure this through Grow, which I'd imagine aims to measure engagement in one way or another (dwell time, # of impressions per page, ctr, etc.)

    I was accepted but I haven't passed yet. Do they pay more than Ezoic? My EPMV at Ezoic is currently 11 on average.

    Hi @CaseyBotticello,
    I really need your response to know if I have a problem or not. I've been following you since your first video about the journey, and I submitted my website a month and 20 days ago, and I had 25,000 visits to my website. However, due to Google updates, the number of visitors has now dropped to 20,000, and my website has not been reviewed yet, even though it has been over a month. I also submitted a post on their forum and no one has responded. Is this normal or is there a problem that I am not aware of?

    • @CaseyBotticello
      @CaseyBotticello  17 дней назад +1

      This is normal. Most sites take a few months to get in. 30 days is simply the minimum amount required.
