Well unless it’s an extreme fall... they betta not be hurt with all that gear, a lot of it being padding and braces and basically the stuff to prevent you, and whoever your playing with, from hurting in case of getting shot and a fall...

Man, I hated tumbling which I always did when we did bounding fire drills with full plates. Hattttted it because the urge to just lay there was soooo strong lol.

Yhh, I've been to the outdoor ones a few times and whilst you get some cheaters occasionally, you'll find the people that go outdoors want to enjoy the game more and not cheat.

I find that whiners and those that take it too seriously flock to indoor places. Went outside and everyone looks like they take it more seriously but they don't, they just wanna run around and have fun which makes playing outside much more fun

The “bang bang” rule is when you or someone are really close together. Instead of shooting them you day bang bang. It is more respectful and leads to less injuries....mostly

I think the main reason the rule was added was to mitigate fights and encourage a younger audience to play
In paintball we would do a thing we called “bunkering”, instead of saying bang bang we just run up on you and go bang bang.

Played paintball once and enjoyed it quite a bit. It was at camp so we where all kids. But I didn’t know there was the ‘bang bang’ rule so I had shot some kids who where probably closer than we should’ve been. And there was i time o thought I got hit in the throat and inner thigh but there was no paint after I left the area.

To respond to the question on 4:35 the guy was rushing toward the other team’s spawn. Which is basically where the other team goes after they are hit so they can get back into the game. If you “spawn camp” it means you are just shooting them every time they respawn and it disabled the other team’s ability to play, therefore making it not fun for the other team.

The "bang bang" thing reminds me of the time the Marines and Guam National Guard did a joint training exercise, the Marines didn't have blanks so they had to yell "bang bang".

From what I've heard, you actually get more cheaters with paintball because everyone is reliant on the paint marking people. Sometimes the BBs won't burst on impact or the cheater will say it was from earlier.

I once played paintball with my friends, and we decided to join up with another group who unfortunately had a pro-paintball player. He bragged about outdoor paintball being for noobs and only paint ball inside a hall os the real deal. We ignored him and he went out into the field alone. It was a pretty big playfield in the woods and me and two friends decided to do it "military and tactical". Yeah, it was cringe but we enjoyed it. We covered each other, laid surpressing fire while others flanked and all that crap. So I was giving "surpressing fire" into some house when suddenly this pro-paintballer started to do rolls and infront of our firelines. He got hit in the neck and was salty as fook! I told him that Im sorry but he kept insulting and shouting that I suck at playing. He be mad for the whole day.

We did airsoft as an office together, but this was 15 years ago and we only played outdoors. In the winter you cant feel them sometimes over a heavy coat, but we were friends so we never got pissy at each other. It’s fun, but we didn’t like the other teams we met, it was mostly cringy wannabe operators. They all had nicknames like “death dealer” too.

Played tourney paintball for 12 or so years. We used to say " be honest or be dancing" meaning call your hit or ill dump a hopper of paint on you a$$.
That dude literally said “I didn’t feel it but I’ll still call it” and he thought he was still cheating
I was a relatively new player when someone tried to have a physical altercation with me, because I told him to call his shots. Before I could even get a Ref' he came and puts his hands on me calling me all sorts of names and colorful phrases. I remember the first thing they mentioned at the safety brief was, "You will get banned for life if you get physical with another player." I was so afraid to defend myself because I loved the sport and I didn't want to make a bad impression my second time there. Just when I was about to snap and start throwing hands the ref came over and pulled the other individual (man child) off me. I got to play for the rest of the day and the other dude got banned. I wish these places had gentlemen's rules in place, so that way we could scrap and make up.
On their back they have a compressed air tank for the airsoft gun

You were wondering what was on their backs. Someone else has probably jumped on it already, but I think they're either CO2 tanks or BB containers that feeds through the hoses into their airsoft guns. (Edited for grammar)

Sorry man, wrong on both suggestions. Its High Pressure Air (HPA) in the tanks. 3000psi, though the tanks can handle a lot more. Then on the tank is a regulator to bring the PSI down to 60 to 180PSI. The higher the PSI the more energy to launch the 6mm BBs. And only a few use what is known as a Murder Mag. They are fairly touchy things and expensive to build. Rarely do they work well enough to be used in this sort of fast paced game style.
But not all of these guns are HPA guns. Some are just highly modified Automatic Electric Guns. (AEG). It's actually pretty easy to build a battery powered airsoft rifle that can shoot 30 to 60rds per second. Dual and now even triple sector gears mean that the gun can cycle incredibly fast. The longevity of these guns is what's in question here.
And finally, this is what is called SpeedSoft or SpeedQB. This is not the norm of airsoft. This is simply an out layer or fringe group. Most people play the more honest and calmer version of the game. It's actually really fun and is a good work out.

No Hpa tanks, it's hard to make back mounted box mags but if my brother and father get enough time complete their experiment I may have an example of one hooked up to a pistol.

What most of these guys have on their back is a backpack with a HPA tank. Some more expensive airsoft guns are powered by hpa gas. The gas is in the tank, then it connects to the gun through the tube that you see hanging of them.
Bang Bang is used when you are “too close to shoot” because some airsoft places have that rule and some dont
That's a reason to have one of the dummy knives, usually have the one I use on my belt or vest.
A lot of airsoft field have a minimum engagement range so the “bang bang” is to signify he shot him without breaking the range rule.

In airsoft if you are in 10 feet of a person you are required to say bang bang because the engagement distance is 10 ft unless you have a low pressurized pistol
so these people are called "speedsofters" they wear dye masks and the backpack is their hpa tank for their most likely polarstar

A lot of air soft places don’t let you shoot within a certain distance so instead of shooting you will say a code phrase, usually bang bang which sing all that the player is out.

As a Minor league and avid airsoft player, out gear and camo are always put on at the place of where we are playing! And as soon as we leave we take the gear off! It’s fun to be kited out and all so we could play scenarios. But guys who wear there gear before the get too the game makes me cringe.another thing is that people take the game way to serious, it’s a hobby and a good way to get moving , this isn’t the military, just have fun and quit complaing and yelling cheater! Some jurisdictions require indoor because the pellets contain pcb bpa and pollute the water table, plus you can just scoop up ammo back when indoor.

I'm glad I grew up skateboarding. You can't take your anger out on the concrete too well. I did see a lot of babies throw their skateboards when they didn't land right

You arnt always gonna know when you’re hit because the BB might hit a thick layer of clothing or even a vest preventing you from feeling it hitting you

"Bang bang" is usually used when you're too close to safely fire, such as with higher-powered replicas. A high powered weapon CAN potentially cause some damage if it hits bare skin or an area with thin protection such as a T-shirt, and an accidental headshot at such close range could potentially shatter/penetrate weaker eye protection or even knock out teeth. Some players may opt to use a sidearm in these situations if possible, but "bang bang" is usually more tactically sound than drawing a sidearm and leaving yourself vulnerable.

When they say you can't rush spawn, it basically means that when people get hit they rush to a area, called respawn, so they can get back in the game. And it's not really fun when you stand where they respawn

The majority of airsofting isn't like this. This is called a compilation. It's showing the bad part of airsoft. There's probably more than 10x the amount of footage on youtube showing the good side. It's all about where you play.

The things on there backs I believe are gas for the guns or other requirements like grandes and drum mags
close, not gas but High Pressure air tanks. They are for hpa engines like Polarstars, or for when you want to convert your hi capa into a hpa gun

Most wear "the cool gear" and some wear the gear because its the easiest to find for mag pockets etc.
Me? i snipe, i got 2 pistol mag pockets on my belt and keep my rifles mags in my chest pockets.
Also got a leg holster modified to sit on my belt so that i can turn it so it sits on my butt but still lower than a regular belt holster, makes running and crawling a little easier than with a leg holster that can start slapping around.
If i expect a long time in the woods i may carry a 1 or 2 L camelback, im not that much for indoors.
"How many cheat" some do, some does not notice when getting hit, some times its hard to tell and it is not unusual that a discussion occurs around it from time to time, most of the times its solved calmly, some times when adrenaline flows it can get heated but in general its usually solved and people leave on friendly terms.
Don’t play airsoft if they are gonna play like this am I right?
That’s why a lot of people use polar stars, so you don’t have to worry about them not calling their shots
