    Great pattern thank you for sharing this! To anyone making this - it seemed too small while I was working in it but came out the perfect size to fit a standard can. Trust the process.

    I’m a confused about the turn and flipping it inside out. Also, because I’m not changing colors, I find it difficult to see the stitches. Could you please place the link here that I can download the written instructions? This may help.
    I do like your teaching style; I think I’m just extremely rusty.

      Hi Marian - if you are just doing one colour that makes things a lot easier :). I was flipping inside out just because it was quite tight working the stitches when working with the inside facing. Here is a link to the blog post www.prettydarnadorable.com/2022/04/29/how-to-crochet-a-can-cozy-with-scrap-yarn/. or to download here www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1210351702/crochet-pattern-brighton-crochet-cozy hope this helps :). And thanks for being here!

    I’m having a hard time once i get past round six. Is there a simpler pattern perhaps that i could start out with? Thanks.

    Yarn winder from Amazon. To turn it into Yarn cakes. And tangle free.❤

      This is so funny that you posted this today. I have one arriving. I got one in December that I loved but it kept popping off my table and a bigger one and one with a better screw turned up in my feet so I ordered that one it’s getting here today and I’m so excited, thank you for the recommendation 😍

    At the start and stop of each of my rows it doesn’t look right. It looks all messy and I can’t figure out why. Any tips?

      Try using a stitch marker to make sure you are working into the right stitch every time. This has happened to me before too :)

    I don't have any can that is less than two inches wide. What multiples do you use?

    Do you have a simpler cookie pattern? I’m just getting back in to crochet. Thanks!

      Hi Marian - I was thinking about this. I don't but what you could do after you finish the base is just keep working sc without any increases. Keep working the rounds till you get the height you want and it will look great. If you are into changing the colours you could still make a stripped one. Hope this helps ;)

    I’m not new to crocheting and I’m having a hard time with the size of this pattern. I follow everything as you say and it keeps ending up too small, is this supposed to be a slim can coozy?

    • @prettydarnadorable
      @prettydarnadorable  2 года назад

      Sadly no - regular size can. Perhaps one more round of increases to get to the size you needed? I know when the pattern was tested I did have one tester it was too small it was tension in the end. Hope this helps!

    • @anonymousdrft
      @anonymousdrft 9 месяцев назад

      Mine was small too, but once I stretched it over a can it stretched out just fine.

    • @prettydarnadorable

      It does I know :). If you are new to crochet try it with acrylic - I find it a lot easier to work with that the handicrafter cotton I used. Let me know if you try it I'm here to help.
