Kevin Richardson (the lion whisperer) has an amazing story--the BBC did a documentary about him 20 years ago. He has since purchased land for his own reserve. All of the lions he raised--he built relationships with each. The other animals he has taken in as rescues. He has a unique perspective on animal conservation. I hope you can react to some of his videos. Addicting.
Yeah, remaining calm and never running is the rule of thumb with any predator. Even a polar bear. (although your odds in that situation are slim to none) The second you trigger the prey instinct, a predator will come after you. Easier said than done though, for sure. These wild-life photographers have been in enough situations to know how to react...aka, NOT react.
For anyone interested, this is the full version of that human and gorilla family interaction. It's like the papa Gorilla was taking his kids to the petting zoo to play with the human haha ruclips.net/video/x2H7zcqjplc/видео.html
“Kevin Richardson - Go Pro: Lions The New Endangered Species?” It’s a great video explaining what Kevin does and how he builds relationships with certain big cats and hyenas. He doesn’t just go out and try it with wild lions, he only does it with lions that are in his conservation reserves.
You can see the fences. Those wolves were in a wolf sanctuary, so they're ery familiar with humans. The bear mantra is: If it's black, fight back If it's brown, lie down If it's white, kiss your ass goodnight.
In all instances of bears, you make yourself look bigger and you yell. A friend of mine went on an Alaskan cruise that included a land tour. The tour bus they were on stopped near a trail where they had just seen a brown bear, which is also a grizzly bear walk across the road and go down the trail. The tour guide, then got off the bus and the people were supposed to follow him down the trail, but they were concerned about the fact that they just seen a grizzly go down the trail. The tour guide told them if you encounter a bear, make yourself look bigger and yell at the bear, but if you encounter a moose run.
I kind of cringe when narrators call humans ‘a new friend’ to wild animals. Wildlife are not a Disney movie. So often in social media platforms, when this kind of thing is shared , the comments are ‘ I want one!’ ‘ Look at the floof !’ But, it’s very cool that professional wildlife photographers can capture their beauty with respect.
The Wyoming Fish and Game would like you to know the difference between Black bear and Grizzly scat. One has berries in it and smells like poo. The other smells like pepper and has keys in it.
It's a myth to play dead to a brown bear/Grizzly bear. Your best bet is to run like a rabbit and zig zag. They can't shift their whole-body weight like a human, but never try the "play dead Idea.
Awww, I know that husky, I subscribe to their channel, she’s actually not doing well right now…her name is Millie, she’s getting older…get well soon Millie ❤❤❤
And very misunderstood by the average person. They dont even like to eat meat. They prefer fruits and veggies. They are far more tolerant and easy going than chimps.
If Daz is so afraid of dogs you guys should react to Cesar Millan a.k.a. The Dog Whisperer. I've had alot of different animals and once you learn to read animals humans are so easy to read because they talk too much. Lol. Be open minded.
This guy narrating the video you're reacting to has gotten almost every single fact absolutely wrong!!! The man doesn't know anything about true wildlife

Running from any of those predators would be your last mistake

That brown bear also didnt have visible scars. Plenty of Salmon in that river no need to fight
Yeah, and in the full video you'll see off in the distance that it's with more than a handful of other adult bears. No cubs.
Maybe you guys could do a mysterious underwater creatures video. I love that stuff
Greatest Lion/Human story
is that of Christian the Lion❤

I met a woman years ago that lost her hand as a child to a bear at a petting zoo. So...I don't do that.

Sharks are completely misunderstood

13:25 shout out to @streetbeefs 😂😂🍻
I think domestication was simple. The wolves like our food. Especially roasted meat and bread
Sharks are not friendly is the best and today top 3 reminders of the decade.
There is a documentation of videos of gorillas learning how to disarm fur traps.
They are very intelligent.
And very misunderstood by the average person. They dont even like to eat meat. They prefer fruits and veggies. They are far more tolerant and easy going than chimps.
9:00 😆🤣😂
Yes no run 😮
Also, Daz if you want to see sheep with big horns google North American Big Horn sheep.
Sheep have WOOL ... that animal clearly HASNT GOT WOOL!
