Great video! I purchased this kit from Baja Designs. Their install documentation is terrible and your clear video instructions really helped confirmed what I was doing was incorrect. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback! Hopefully your Bronco comes soon, and don't forget to hit us up if you have any questions about anything concerning the plans for your build! We're always happy to help.
Yes, definitely. Would just need to combine the two wires from the upfitter harnesses into one. I'd suggest switch 2 to make sure you have enough amperage.
Well, sorta? Technically the s2’s are not SAE certified, only the squadrons. They’re just low enough lumens that they figure it’s a non issue, and also they’re switched separately and you can run just the SAE squadrons on the street. The SAE kit is not technically fully SAE certified.
Yes. That harness is available individually. We don’t have a listing on the website but we can get it for you. Contact us directly tomorrow 833.Motoroso
I cant find the amber covers you installed in the video on your website. can you provide a link or part number so I can add them to my order?...Thanks, Great Install Vid!
Hey Harold, yes we've just added those links to the video description. Here's the Squadron Amber Driving/combo: www.motoroso.com/p/1084373-baja-designs-squadron-pro-and-sport-driving-combo-amber?lid=1716471 Here's the S2 Amber Driving/combo: www.motoroso.com/p/1814754-baja-designs-s2-series-amber-drivingcombo-lens-kit
Also, we have ONE of the Sportsmen kits in stock at the moment. These have had long lead times, and we just got this one last week. If you don't want to wait for it, we recommend snapping up this one: www.motoroso.com/p/2004565-baja-designs-2021-ford-bronco-fog-pocket-kit-21-up-sportsmen-wupfitter
What do you mean? Did you watch the install portion? The oem aux switches (an option, not standard equipment in every bronco) run to a harness in the engine bay. That’s what the upfitter harness is for, we wired the lights to those.
The thing that is funny is SAE in the traditional sense is the acronym for "Society of Automotive Engineers". DOT would be who would approve them for street use. Interesting that is on there though.
SAE is society of automotive engineers, and that’s not correct to say that SAE = street legal. Lights must be approved by DOT (department of transportation) to be street legal. SAE controls quality and manufacturing, DOT controls what is and isn’t legal
This guy is a great representative! His knowledge and clarity of speech is refreshing in this era of mumbling and product ignorance on RUclips!
Haha, thank you so much, we appreciate that! Yeah, we try to be clear and to the point, and that comes from the same frustration.

Very very thorough video! One day the bronco I ordered will show up and I'll be watching this again to install my lights :)

The " scientist " 😂good one.
Thanks for the video, you helped me choose the fog and a-pillar light i'm going to install.
cheers
awesome ! .... thanks for the video
i think you need to check braptor vs bronco for the fuse layout they are different if its in your youtube i missed it
Great video!
Thank you!
I bought it!
Can you run the squadron light and the s2 lights all on one auxiliary switch to save room for other stuff?
Yes, definitely. Would just need to combine the two wires from the upfitter harnesses into one. I'd suggest switch 2 to make sure you have enough amperage.
So good!
If I get the sportsman kit and only turn on the S2 sports, I'd be SAE compliant? They seem to be the same light in the SAE and non-SAE kit.

GREAT VIDEO !!!!
Do you have any videos about the Baja designs XL linkable bumper lights ?
Thank you! No not yet, but we are doing the A-pillar system and the windshield linkable bar soon! Let us know if we can help with anything.
For the sportsmen kit are the S2 lights already street legal and just the big is too bright for on road use?
No, the S2’s are not “SAE”.
@@Motoroso ok so only the big one in the SAE package otherwise the rest are off-road/rec use only.
@@WILDcardPG correct, in the SAE kit, only the squadrons are SAE certified
@@WILDcardPG Yes, technically, correct.
Hi Alex, do you sell the switched harness by itself for this kit? Thanks
Yes. That harness is available individually. We don’t have a listing on the website but we can get it for you. Contact us directly tomorrow 833.Motoroso

@@harolddunn8395 yes, you got the last one, we’ll ship it today!
why not use the prewires Ford gives you for either of the lights?
