The good thing about such MOCs are they look better than official sets, they look more complete and they usually are totally remote controlled. The bad thing is they lack complexity of mechanisms. Having a separate motor for each function adds cost and removes complexity of drivetrains and gearboxes and, for some people like me, this means it also removes the pleasure of creating stuff with Technic. I don't mean to be misunderstood, I like everything about how that (and many more MOCs I've seen on youtube) looks and functions it's just that as much as it impresses me as a whole, it also does not impress me that much the fact that every single motorized function it has, uses a separate motor.
Beautiful piece again, congrats. It is nice to see this cormach type crane too. I've been experimenting with it when I built mine and found it more rigid than the assymetrical types at least on this scale. It is a great work with incredible attention on details.
Very good, very clean design!! the best MOC crane truck I have seen. Some improvements to do: smoother crane rotational movement and better pick-up locks!!! and will be perfect
LEGO needs to pick this up. Whilst a kit would be very expensive, I would wager this would be a nice long term earner for them. It is simply Brilliant. 😎
Holy shit this is so good. If only LEGO had the balls to release a set like this... Or they should release it under the "baller" label which could cost €500,- to €800,- for the hardcore fans. Anyway more than an awesome job dude
Fantastic! Need this MOC. LEGO is managed by controllers (without any knowledge about the brand and what it stands for) not by the creative people who love what they do and play. The Chinese market is aware of LEGO‘ problem and spend more and more in creative Designs and Quality.
Wow, what a fantastic moc! Have you ever considered designing a car transporter for 1:8 scale cars? I am guessing the general scale of the pneumatic crane truck is about right...?
This is enormous! Like your new functions such as pneumatic seats and the front bonnet! Also it seems like you have used the new chassis? Not from your tractor or the dump truck?
It's slow considering it's driven by 4 XL motors(well most Lego trucks and cars with an XL motor are really slow) but other than that this truck is awesome and you managed to cover up around the Crain so it doesn't look hollow so you can't see the inside where all the mechanics and all of that stuff is. I am not dissing this or anything and I think this is a great model you have created. Oh and how long did this take you to build?
This is the best Lego model I have ever seen. Too bad I only have 70% of the parts. Any suggestions to get missing parts cheaper? Rebrickable calculated a price of 1k € :/
Use the "add parts to BrickLink wanted list" button on Rebrickable, then use the "easy buy" function. You'll get way better prices there. The whole set is a bit under 1900€ though.
i like how clean you covered up the crane props for that
This is probably the best moc I've seen, great job man!

That's bloody amazing, so clean and streamlined. The 1900€ quote on bricklink for all the parts was quite a cold shower though. :D

2:33 who else sees batsignal
Wow. Amazing! So how long did you take to build the truck?
I don't remember very well....but I can say around 6 months for all the project
You made an excellent piece of work ! How many hours did you
put in to it ?
It's hard to estimate the hours, it took to me, more or less, 6 months!
I think something around 200-250 hours
How long did you build this?
Just WOW
For a Lego model it is to good
Amazing! What music is that?
nice
Its a good thing you used Li-Po batteries
Mega !
