- Thanks to @alfaromeousa, I got to drive the long awaited Stelvio facelift for a week in this gorgeous Alfa Rosso paint! Sporting the mid tier Veloce trim, we have extensive blacked out accents, a rear LSD, glorious paddle shifters and a complimentary red/black extended leather interior. Outside are new LED headlights with a signature triple LED running light and Alfa easter eggs, and a slightly recontoured grill. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍀 @Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: Engines largely remain unchanged for North America with a 2.0L Turbo 4 making 275HP to the rear or all four wheels through an 8 speed gearbox. This Veloce gets a limited slip differential at the rear. I averaged around 25 MPG. 🍀

The only new feature inside is a new 12.3in digital gauge cluster that comes with a heritage mode to make it look like a 1960’s Giulia. So how was it? While it’s a subtle update, the Stelvio is still the best looking SUV in its class and may still be the best driving with excellent dynamics, razor sharp steering, and a playful rear end even with AWD. It may be smaller than a X3, but the experinece makes up for it.
Lows? The lack of wireless CarPlay is disappointing in 2024 as is the slow responding 8.8in infotainment screen when using touch. (The physical wheel is quicker) Cargo room also is on the small side as is rear leg room…. But those are my only complaints.
Would I buy one? Yes, yes I would. ☘️

Love my stelvio. Such a fun car to drive! My first car was a gmc syclone(AWD turbo 6) so it only makes sense 27 years later I’m in a AWD turbo
The reason why they didn’t make a version between the Veloce and the Quadrifoglio is that the 2.0 is faster than any 4 cylinders in the market, which means that the 2.0 is already more powerful than anything in that segment except for the Maserati Grecale Modena but that thing is too expensive.
If you take most of the Audi, Mercedes and Volkswagen 3.0t are as fast as a Giulia with a 2.0t. Considering that not many people know the brand Alfa and that they don’t sell, especially in the USA, then it would not make much sense to make another engine and another model, that would have been a major waste of money.
They had intended to originaly but I think the lack of sales didn't justify it especially considering the 2.0 was (still is?) at the top of its class.

You are spot on with this review. My wife got a 2024 Veloce a few months ago and it is super fun to drive and push on curvy country roads. This car wants to be driven. A pure drivers car.
