Dinos have ways of making tokens on their opponent's field through a field spell so Token Collector isn't the worst thing in the world for them to run(though you're typically not gonna use it that way since Souleating Oviraptor can pop from either side of the field for its effect). It's also a neat answer to Nibiru shenanigans, and gives a clean way to out an opponent's Primal Being token(which Misc allows you to use even with an established board, imagine the irony of Dinos weaponizing Space Rocks).

Dkayed's play by play is so good I usually listen to these while doing other things. That being said 6:50 really made me stop what I was doing and make sure I wasn't having a stroke lol

The first game, why was the swordsoul player just holding the Maxx c? If he plays that at the drop it could have been a different game.

Dinos was actually the first cohesive deck I ever made in MD. I never used the extra deck tho, id just use a couple of the pot cards to get more cards in the off chance I bricked. I also use gren maju and tyranno infinity in the event that my two UCTs got dealt with
This is why i love yugi, it feels like playing chess but so much different styles

Ngl this vid is making me want to make a Dino deck. The plays look mad fun
reached diamond 4 with dino last season, very very fun if you can play. The deck suffers from consistency issues, and i would recommend going blind second and attempting to otk with tyrano + pentestag, you can set something decent up first turn but going second has won me far more games

He got a bit lucky, but dinos were never dead, they are not meta, and are one of the more expensive decks to build, but dinos have always been deck that can win any given game. Very high ceilling when they get it going
@@nbassasin8092 that is true I do have to keep in mind that the SS player bricked hard but the second game was kinda unlucky too he banishd his protos which was unfortunate
@@iownstaticz8687 yeah if you ran 100 dino vs ss games, ss would wipe most of those, this guy definitely had some baaad luck, but that aside, dino is still solid. Even if the finals games were a fluke, he couldnt have blundered his whole way to the finals so tjat is showing their power

It wasnt actually a misplay. He didnt activate it to ensure a draw since he bricked, and if he shotgun the maxx c, Dom wouldn't have special summoned which means he still wouldnt have a great hand

Second game this guy couldve went full chaofeng before even normal summoning-even worse cuz the opp mains token collector and you know it. Why activate pot of desires first 😅 even had cbtg for maxx c or ash.

dino deck can be a little bitch sometimes it bricks and get interrupted easily but when it goes through it's fucking amazing to watch it's the coolest deck
if misc resolves dinos can break any board in the game and OTK with ease

when a duel is finished in a duel room, you can check the replay with both hands open. you need to check the settings first tho.

Dude maindecks Token Collector. If there was a more one sided duel, I'd like to see it.
Token Collector isn't a counter in Dino. It is an Small World bridge and extender. Lost World summon Token, and you can summon Collector, Lost world protect the token from destroy with it effect.
So dinos are still viable huh

This deck ran Naturia Beast, which is easy to summon with this deck.
go first and make a naturia beast and laggia, naturia stops all spells and the laggia will solemn judgement that dumb lvl 4 card that stops all monsters effects from activating

Join the tournament then mr. better than everybody. Why do people have this logic? It's a game. Sometimes you mess up, but in this case he bricked game 1 and opponent had everything game 2.
