The longest and greatest rival in wrestling history and definitely very entertaining Ric Flair vs Sting... I think Sting should have gotten the World title more than what he had gotten.
Two things: 1. I was in Baltimore at the Great American Bash when Sting won the belt, and 2. When I think of Sting, I always think about The Ultimate Warrior. One of them became a student of the business and tried to improve himself against great wrestlers. The other one was The Ultimate Warrior.
Man I could listen to these 2 all day. In fact they should go on tour and sell tickets. Outstanding memories. And to hear stories of their real deal friendship and and and....
Sting and Ric Flair were two people who got me to watch wrestling. Sting is still my favorite wrestler of all time and I don't think I saw a bad match between these two. It is probably my favorite feud of all time. The ultimate good guy against the ultimate bad guy. Although, Steamboat or Dusty vs Flair is close too.
Awesome to hear them talk about the old days. Sting was my favorite wrestler growing up. Seeing matches with Flair and Vader made me want to paint my face and holler like the stinger. Thanks for the memories!
I'm still trying to figure out why the National Wrestling Alliance never sued the N-word With Attitude for appropriating their abbreviated nickname NWA .
Friday 8/11/89 at the civic arena in Pittsburgh, i was lucky enough to see those 2 live at an NWA card. (Flair vs Terry Funk for the world title and Sting vs Great Muta for the vacant tv title)
Flair/Sting was the pinnacle wrestling rivalry of my childhood.
And who were you again?
Epic matches of these two guys back then!

Same here.

I truly enjoyed the NWA back in those days!
My two favorite wrestlers Ric Flair and Sting.
I saw them both in person at Clash of the Champions '93. An incredible honor. It was Sting and Flair vs Vader and Ric Rude. What a time to be alive.

Hell yeah bad @$$ wrestling match. I also like Rick Rude he was a very good wrestler and definitely could get people's attention.

Sting flair was a great feud . Flair steamboat was another feud .I loved NWA \WCW just like I loved WCCW with the VonErichs and free birds.
Much better than the other host. Conrad doesn’t interrupt near as much. Thank God
This is the format I was hoping for, Ric speaking with other legends and going over history.
Conrad knows the history and let’s Flair talk.
Finally STING. Please upload more love Sting.
Grew up on Sting, Flair, Steamboat, Dusty, Road Warriors. What a time it was.
Two of the Greatest of all Time.
Sting being a good guy and hard worker helped.

I loved at the end of their last match on the last night of Nitro they broke character and hugged each other.
How sad!
I miss WCW tremendously!
I cried when the last nitro aired and got nauseated seeing Shane and Vince on the show. Horrible
A great era of Wrestling gone
This was great. That era of wrestling was the best. Never going to see days like it again.
Two Legends
I don't care what you say Ric and Steve that last match was PERFECT.
There was nothing like the NWA in the 1980s!
I'm still trying to figure out why the National Wrestling Alliance never sued the N-word With Attitude for appropriating their abbreviated nickname NWA .
NWA is way better than The WWF cartoonist bull shit.
I cried 3 times during this. My 2 Favorites Wrestlers of All-Time… Together again!
Great interview!
When does Sting start a podcast?
Sting was wcw. Loyal. One of the few guys. Who stayed there….. I thought ric never fit. In wwe. I always thought he was an nwa wcw guy.
